@@BENJAMINJAMESSMITH2000 no, but they do have to trust in Jesus to be saved. Baptism is designed to signify that trust, and to seal us as those who have been united with Christ in his death and resurrection through it. But it is the trust itself, not the outward sign, that is most important.

Not to mention the thief on the cross in Luke 23:40-43, who was forgiven and saved without ever being baptized. We all have a proof text, my friend.
