Watching El Mariachi and Desperado back to back always makes me discover new things between these movies. That scene with the wedding and the happy mariachi music always makes me think that it is a bit of a look at what El's life could have been if Domino had not died and they had a happy life together.

This bit of music and the wedding celebrations music is a masterpiece of this movie. Apart from Clint Eastwood, they don’t make movies as this anymore. A thrilling movie, well deserved the applause of the viewers, money well spent to see, are there anymore like this? Mexico seems to be my best loved country that I would like to have been born into. Music, hard life, pretty women, a culture of togetherness, and keeping nature as the best friend.
