You need a small “crush” for dogs, commonly used to trim hooves on livestock.

He made me nervous. You are so calm and collected grooming him. I think the humming hypnotized him. He was much calmer while you were humming.

Loved the FFWD and the intermission with the music. It seemed to go smoothly there for a second, with Charlie. If I lived in the US and I had a dog that was a little more trouble I would for sure contact you. You seem fearless (but take the necessary precautions).

WOW, this is crazy. Who knew under all that fur he had such an adorable face and that the face would be the least upsetting part of the groom? I felt so bad for pet parent, you could see her shaking with nerves. It's hard to watch when we think our dog is stressed. I hope the end results made her feel so much better and showed her a groom was possible and next time, she can take comfort in that. Great job Dede.

Well done. Awesome effort. Once the owner was away he settled right down. Maybe he owner guards too? Us nurses would sedate an animal this aggressive/anxious. Much respect to you hun. Will show the girls at work this video. I noticed the little tricks and distractions you used. Well done mum and doggo too ❤️

Wow. At first it seemed like this was going to be awful. Once you got the cone on, he was relatively ok. You and dog mom made a great team for his feet. Poor Charlie. I hope he learns to trust, and I hope dog mom brushes him and holds his feet every day.

Honestly, once it gets to this point, just grab the back of the head and pin him down to proceed in putting on the protective gear. A somewhat smaller dog like this will ultimately lose. Sucks to have to be forceful in such a way, but I would argue it's ultimately easier for everyone involved. Crazy to see it get to this point, where a dog gets hysterical and aggressive! Glad you all handled it. He definitely needed all the help you gave him.

You can use Kevlar gloves like the chef use in the kitchen to prevent cut. Am sure it will work in preventing dog bites.

So sorry to say this but all these dog owners know that the dog need grooming .so y do they wait till the dog is such bad condition ?? Y I can't understand how they say they love there dog ??

Well now the owner see her dog is hard to work with may be she could get to you every few weeks to get the dog use to you and for her to do the right thing for her bad behaviour dog ..

My Sam is just likeCharlie. Would you consider an Internet course for aggressive dog grooming. We are going to our fifth appointment (others kicked him out) in two weeks. They insist on vet with drugs only. I caved and we are doing it but I am not happy. There has to be a way to train more good groomers. Keep up the good work.

This is allowed bad behaviour as Dede is the only person it seems so far that challenges the dog. The owner angers me because this is another small dog mainly this breed that acts like this because they are spoilt and it’s pathetic the way she can not control that dog.
