I was a single father who raised 3 daughters on my own. These movies kinda helped me cope with the day in, day out. I wish I would've had the Minions to help me. I love these films.

Props on Universal for not going the woke route and instead giving their audience what they wanted. They may not releases nearly as much as Disney, but when they do release films for kids, they tend to be a big hit which is a good ROI.

Agree on Looney Tunes! Our family saw the film Thursday. We had fun watching it. It’s just good for a stupid, fun, slapstick fun kind of movie like Looney Tunes.

@@thunderpantz you mean the Disney investors and contractors? Inside Out 2 is an anomaly and for adult women predominantly. It’s certainly not something boys watched.

@@thunderpantz 62 percent of the people attending were female compared with 38 percent male. That’s nearly a statistically significant difference. Barbie was 65 percent female, which is statistically significant. Females are driving the box office because men are checking out.

Despicable Me 4 is the 4th entry in the franchise, the same way Street Fighter 6 is the 6th entry in the franchise.

My family went to see _Despicable Me 4_ the other day and we all enjoyed it, from pre-teen son through middle-aged dad. It was just fun and, most important of all, entertaining! It also gave us a chance to watch some trailers. Without knowing anything else about them beforehand: When I saw the poster for _Transformers One_ I initially thought, "Oh boy, another boring, soulless, cash grab prequel." Seeing the trailer changed my mind and now I'm actually looking forward to it. I grew up watching G1 Transformers while my older brother watched Robotech, so I'm generally skeptical of the modern revisions of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, but this one looks like it'll be another fun, mindless popcorn muncher of a movie. When I saw the poster for _Wicked_ I initially thought, "Hey, I've heard of the musical or Broadway show or whatever. I might pay to see it in the theater." After the trailer, it looks like another poorly written, woke metaphor for racism, executed with all the grace and aplomb of _The Coprolite_ with none of the positives of the Star Wars universe. It's possible the original show is just as bad; don't know, don't care. Then there was _Mufasa_ which I didn't care about before and I continue to not care about. So, at least it's consistent.

I don't know guys. I asked my 12 yo daughter if she wanted to see this and she had no interest at all. She didn't understand why they needed to make a 4th one.

Got to see despicable me 4 yesterday with the kids and we loved it. Today we are seeing inside out 2. I've been wanting to go to the theaters more often with them and glad I've heard inside out 2 is good. I very interested in that wild robot movie

The first Despicable Me movie was great and charming; the second and third were not quite as good, but still quite watchable. 😊 The first Sing movie was great; the second one, not so much!

I like Despicable Me movies and I'm 50. I also have kids and had to watch all of them through the years. Not a fan of Sing, however. Those borderline on torture.
