Resolve 18.5 now supports custom squeeze ratios, if you feel comfortable running a beta version. Also this a lot easer to do using input sizing presets, that allow you to store different crops and apply them to clips directly in the media pool.

This is very helpful. I wish Resolve supported 1.6 natively though, as I am taking my footage through Fusion and need to be able to easily export shots 'resqueezed' from it, to other software. It would make better sense if Resolve allowed us to edit footage in its original frame, viewing it in the program monitor through a desqueeze, as one can do with Adobe, Unless there is a 1.6x pixel aspect ratio one can choose?

Question: Since the new FX3 update you can now shoot in 4096 DCI. It would be something different from 3240x1350, right? How do would you do the math on that. Is it even worth shooting anamorphic in DCI? Thanks! EDIT: Also, if you could explain further for me... The 3240x1350 resolution is the true resolution of a 1.6x images if reframed in that 2.40 timeline, right? I think I got that part. I tried you 2K export setting though and it just zoomed into the image, cutting out the image on all sides. I assume there's a box that needs to be check and/or unchecked that I haven't done to downscale the image to fit the new 2K export. Forgive me if this one is a novice question. I'm still learning davinci's workflow.
