It's time to declutter! Spring cleaning has finally hit the craft room! I have been obsessively watching the Home Edit for a few weeks now, and my whole house has undergone decluttering and organizing. It was finally time to start craft room destash! I hope my craft room organization and makeover inspire you to go through your craft space to touch all your craft supplies and figure out what will actually get used in your craft room makeover!

Ha! Boxes you’ve had 2 years? Try 8 years! Mine are going after I finish with my garage and master closet. 2 craft overflow areas. (We won’t discuss the canvases under the guest room beds.) Paper crafts make the worst for clutter, especially junk journaling! Paper, digitals, ephemera, vintage everything, charms, beads, ribbon, saree silk, lace, doilies, photos, specialty paper, decoupage napkins, and we aren’t even thinking about supplies like glues and tools. For anyone in a similar situation as me, Goodwill accepts craft and art supplies. This has helped me knowing I’m making the right decision. Thank you! ❤ Shirley

Like that you are doing this! Too bad for me that I probably have 100 times as much ephemera bc I make jj. They are stored in clear plastic pockets, labeled, and those organized alphabetically in clear plastic bins. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS SYSTEM IS THE CATALOG LISTING EACH POCKET SO THAT I REMEMBER WHAT I HAVE AND WHERE TO FIND IT.. I am now moving house and don’t have time to go through each pocket reducing the amount of stuff that I have 🙃. Note to those reading this… reduce your stash regularly as that will definitely help sometime! 💕💕

I've been through everything once when I was originally decluttering and organizing my craft room, but with it generally done, I need to go back through and spend a bit more time thinking though the things I kept. Thanks for the encouragement to keep going.

Ohhhhh I so agree, schools or your local thrift stores(county,city or parish). So much of the time they help displaced persons, qualified low income and the like🥰. One in our area even offers them schooling, training and classes for their betterment. Support local and small🥰 ❤️😀
