As part of the launch and revamp of the Dún Laoghaire.ie website, we asked some locals & visitors what their favourite things were in the town.
This video is an initiative of the Dún Laoghaire BID scheme to help you all remember everything there is to LOVE in Dún Laoghaire!

I was born in Dun Laoghaire but grew up in Australia. I'm a teacher and storyteller and am in the process of having one of my stories turned into a children's book. It is a fairytale story centred around Castlebar, Mayo and Dun Laoghaire. When I tell the story kids enjoy it.

I lived in Tivoli Tce south for 14 years I love Dunlaoghaire fantastic place to bring your kids to something for everyone on a family day out with your kids

Dun Laoghaire used to be a hive of activity in the eighties and very early nineties when I was growing up. Streets were jam packed, shopping centre was jam packed, shops and arcades were packed, since mid to late nineties the place became a ghost town compared to what it used to be. The good weather is the only thing that brings people to the town now unfortunately.
