I was one of the service brats back in the early 1970's, my father was Master At Arms at Fort St Angelo, Alan " George " Walker. I fell in love with Malta . Short days at school in the summer because of the heat, went swimming in the afternoons, with a picnic. Went back in 1987 with a pal from school , acted as tour guide, and twice in 2010 with my partner Helen , planning my next visit.

The narration is superb and the historical context makes this documentary a real treat as it shows the history and significance of this special place. Mr. Worrod's obvious voice talent and grasp of the documentary process adds to this video. As a life long fan of documentary film making, I must say that this is an entertaining and informative journey!

You did a great job making this video. The place has not changed much nor the people but the traffic has almost become unbearable.

Thank you Paula. You might be interested in a Maltese novelist, playwright, medical student, interpreter, poet etc (Edward de Bono is not the only Maltese to wear several hats!) called Francis Ebejer. Kind regards, Roger Worrod www.rogerworrod.com

Very nice especially from a historical point of view. But I would dare to say a bit outdated for the current years. Living here, I do not see the crystal clear waters mentioned in the beginning of the documentary. The famous Maltese buses do not exist any more , the island has not become any greener as mentioned and finally you do not hear any birds singing as of course it was added just for the documentary purposes in most of the scenes . But again for historical point of view its a very nice documentary
