Destination OG Trip: Day 2 - Scott's Antique Market

Day 2 of our Family trip up to Helen is in the books. As always, I tend to get a lot done in a short amount of time, so we decided to make a pit stop with the stacker trailer to Scott's in Atlanta to outfit Michele's new house. After that, we head up to Destination OG for the rest of the week.

27:02 my parents have those on-demand water heaters Navien units , I just recently did a flush service on theirs.. it really does make a difference for the longevity of the units. I just run vinegar through them for an hour. That’s something Mr. Mike could do…

My biggest take away has always been to make sure you have your own thing. She has her thing, and I have mine. That makes us self sufficient. As long as you remain supportive of each other, it ensures success.

40% RH at the Helen House? Wow that’s really dry. I keep my house at 48 and my Aprilaire DH runs all the time this time of year in GA. I’m about an hour-ish away from there. I’d be happy to run up there and do some minor punch out repair work for a free or discounted stay 😉. Yall were definitely not in the nicest area of town down there at the expo center where they do the Scott Antique market 😬.

I understand the pain of your broken pool tile get Mikey Mike to use his tape measure and then use "shapeways" or similar 3d Print service to print you a flexible dish frame to house the pieces you have or print a recessed frame with a X stiffener and match the colour on a painted rubber gym mat cut to size. The issue you have is people subliminally stand inside tiles unless you bodge up (make a 4 corner piece central to the hole) people are always going to step there.

She got a really good job opportunity which allows the kids to go to a super sought after charter school roughly 45minutes south from where they live. Can’t pass it up and can’t up and move the new OG HQ. Michelles house was born.
