Even though I’ve never been there, I feel very familiar with Torquay so that was nice to watch! Your stroke with that putter looked much better as you weren’t dragging your hands through at impact. Good battle out there, just the one big number did you in. Wasn’t sure about DMing you on Instagram so I’ll do it here. Got my new Sub70 irons this week!! Been over a decade since I got new irons so very excited. Tried them on the range and they’re very different than what I had as there’s basically no offset and they’re forged, but I hit them well and can’t wait to try them on the course!

Good video. It looks a slightly easier course than Churston GC but still some interesting holes.

Putting and chipping is definitely better. Greens are better so that helps a lot because you can stroke putts rather than hitting them!

I used to putt like you @lester.... taking a small backstroke and trying to push harder on the forward stroke to regulate distance. I had a lesson from a pro and what is much easier is to regulate your distance by the length of the backstroke itself.... longer putt, longer backstroke

Hi Lester I enjoyed the vlog and other than the 8 it was a solid round. What I would say about confidence and I've never played Torquay so maybe wrong here but maybe you need to find it with your driver as you only hit it 3 times how many times did Jordan hit his. But take the positives chipping and putting a lot better 👍

Great video Bernie, good format. I too have had the birdie followed by a triple bogey or more and sometimes it's just one shot that sets off a chain of events. Is there a video you can do on commitment ? I seem to be worrying too much about the result that I actually forget to play the golf shot, if that makes sense

Lester, you are good enough for 3-4 birdies a round at least, the par 4 disaster should have been no worse than a 5, witha chip out to the fairway and trust your long game.

Lester, just a thought ! Do you think maybe a better approach regarding improving your game is maybe to forget initially scores and what your handicap is and focus on just improving your technique ? Maybe your vlog would be more about your swing improvements /technique learning and less on what you score ? I've had several long lay offs ( 8/9 years )and lost my game and confidence ( was club champion at my club in Sussex 16 years ago ) I now don't really care what my handicap is ( a shabby 5.4 but should be so much better ) but I'm more interested in improving the swing fundamentals/ technique and am slowly learning more and more and slowly getting there ( I'm a fit 69 year old ) Time running out though 😥

I'm no where near as good as golfer as you. My last round I went 51-38 and that 38 I had a triple. Trying hard to make a change when I get it right it's great when I don't it's horrible

Lester lester lester.... during your vids there is alot of cutting whilst you talk and as a viewer it is very off puting.... try and smarten the editiing or try to continually talk, example the first 2 mins talking in your car it looked like it cut 8 times? we like watching lester so as positive criticism not negative try and spruce that part up :) good luck bro with all your journey

Question I am looking to join one of these courses down here as I now live around the Totnes Road.I emailed you a couple of years ago to ask where to move to.Is it an area to join playmore golf or one club? In your opinion being the only local knowledgable lad I would know of other than Dan big oggie etc without trying to sound rude to any of these clubs which is the best all round club down here? I have zero golf mates down here and it's crap playing alone so I've not played any real golf sinse last year in the Midlands.I am a mid handicap player I like a long hole and good par 3's and proper par 4's not 250 yarders etc. As for this vlog What a player you're pal,that's a tidy game you have👌 I look forward to you showing us more of these courses aswell.
