Wow, our place is being built a few hundred meters above this house. We drive by this house on our way to our new home. Your drone flew over our place, was quite a pleasant surprise.

@@destino2portugal Briefly met them at one of the restaurants late last year in Torre do Chao perreiro. Nice couple, sad to see them go. I think my cousin may have been the guy who renovated that house if I am not mistaken.

@@paulrodrigues5562is there a place to buy groceries, a pharmacy, hospital, etc. nearby? I love that house! I would love to buy it or a place like it with no land and with nothing to fix. I have to wait until August until my grandson starts Kindergarten, then I'm done watching him all day. I have been praying the house waits for me 😉

A beauty. It would be nice to know what that structure is behind the house, the one with the roof sheets. Assume that does not belong to the property, but it looks kind of sketchy.

That's dry wall upstairs, and drab cheap tiles in a nation famed for its ceramics, I disagree. Also the neughbor has his terrace extended a yard in front of the glazed sunroom. And access to the front and back road and possibly that "shed" directly in the back of the house!

It's a beautifully renovated and maintained home, though I can understand that as we grow older, something smaller and closer to our family and/or doctors becomes more practical. The windows are small in the original part, but you have the "big room" with a panoramic view! There's no space for a leach field, so I presume that the septic tank must be pumped periodically. The location is quiet, but the access looks to be in good order.

This is very nice. Most houses in Italy have this same look and feel. Also you don't pay property taxes in Italy.

It was a home but would have been just the first floor originally, the ground floor would have been where the animals slept.
