Tip for PvE players who will do hard activities and Day 1 raids: This frame is the ONLY pulse that will flinch all red-bar enemies at higher difficulty, and will be very good to prevent yourself from being overwhelmed when the enemies are a bit stronger and help you nail those headshots for something like Headstone. That doesn’t happen with all the other Stasis primaries! Remember that!

@@RagingADHD It is. The problem is that bungie recently increased enemy density to the point that 'aggression control by tactics' changed to 'explode stuff or be overwhelmed'. The power of our guardians has risen to the point that even grandmaster-level mobs are easily overcome with sheer firepower, instead of systematicaly being picked off from long-range (as is customary in high-end destiny content). However, if you plan on using a build that focuses primarily on disabling your enemies (and are not in the mood for blinding grenades), a high-call primary is not a bad option. As OP mentioned, aggressive pulses (as well as other aggressive frame weapons) have much more kick, meaning you can instead choose another, perhaps more impactfull, magazine perk. This is the reason Ikelos SMG is so good. It staggers enemies to flinch hell, while allowing you to use the very balanced Seraph rounds magazine perk.

Also quick reminder: Revision Zero exists if you need a reliable day 1 workhorse as exotic, vorpal and fttc works wonders as secondary DPS (aka auto loading GLs if they come into meta again) and can be turned into a sniper to get rid quickly of some enemies that are pesky. And it shares the same frame as disparity.

Rapid hit and Headseeker has been my goto roll for this gun, as it definitely vibes with the way I play, and sometimes, I like to zig zag with my gun fights due to older hands. Loving the tweaks to headseeker and it making things like Jade Rabbit even more fun.

Something about the way CoolGuy explains things just resonates with me. I remember watching a video back in D1 where you laid out drills to warm up with in rumble and it completely changed the way PvP felt to me and I got addicted to the way this game flows when you're on a roll. 7 years later and still drawing out the passion his community has for this game. totally agree. I'm typically knowledgeable of 90% of the info he says in a weapon breakdown video, yet for some reason, when HE says it, things just click. whether it's a weapon I don't care about, or a weapon that I love and have already decided my roll, I still watch them all because his delivery just resonates with me and just makes things make more sense than I thought they could

As a long time fan of these 4 burst pulses, this season has felt like Bungie's love letter to me. This gun is an absolute masterpiece, i'm having a hard time taking it off. I've been using rapid hit desperado and it has quickly become one of my favorite weapons in every area of the game.

This gun is a godsend for players who aren't popping off. It's consistent, and forgiving. It's never beating out the likes of messenger, stars and shadow, or no time to explain, but if you aren't a Crucible lord, you'll see a lot here to improve your game when you have to get some pvp in

Not to mention that out of the gate you can craft a moving target headseeker. This role will take you straight to max level. I don’t play Crucible a lot but had SO much fun with this, it’s my first crafted Crucible weapon. Going to craft another for PVE.

I love this weapon. I spec out on stability with enhanced rapid hit and enhanced head seaker. I’m more of a mid range player so I bump up the range with the intrinsic perk. The ambush perk help with my low handling. This is way it works for me and it works great.

You know been a cod player for over 15 years, and I wish I would have picked up destiny when it first released I was hard headed and never gave it a chance, untill cod fell short and picked up destiny when splicer was going on and I haven't been able to put destiny down since and I truly love the pvp in this game and I've learned so much on both fronts about how these perks and weapons work together and tho builds are awesome! So thanks for the tips as always!

Good info. This goes along with your comments earlier about the buffs to headseeker. I recently and finally finished the Vigilance Wing catalyst during Iron Banner a couple weeks ago. When I use the 3,4, and Vig. Wing 5 bursts and compare the way they feel, this 4 burst feels amazing, especially with headseeker. I have a drop with heating up/headseeker I’m going to use along side Dead Messenger and Taipan on a Gyrfalcon’s Hunter build for grand masters this week. Thx again for all you do.

Thank God someone made this video. Until yesterday I had no idea about this guns capabilities until I got a random desperado roll. Nothing good other than that, but Great Scott was that fun to tear through people. Hands down, best Hakke gun and possibly best legendary pulse.

It’s very psychological for me. I believed Sunshot and Bad JuJu gave me the lightweight bonuses for years just because they’re based on lightweight frames and when I swapped to them I thought I really felt +2 mob and a sprint perk boosting me. But Aztecross believed hi-cal worked really well on his Mida Multitool for at least a year in D1 and then Bungie said “Sorry that’s been bugged and not working this whole time” So I tend to believe that what we think can have one of the most powerful effects for at least a good number of us but possibly all of us.

I went with rapid hit/headseeker, headseeker is bonkers. I thought about eye of the storm, but I found myself wanting that faster reload after disengaging from a fight and the added stability was a bonus. I won sooo many duels with this gun, it's great.

Great analysis of this spectacular 4-burst! Appreciated the comments on range towards the end of the video - this weapon is really hungry for both range and stability stat juice (and recoil direction for that matter) and fine tuning it has been an interesting challenge. I've got Stability MW / Arrowhead / Accurized / E.Rapid Hit / E.KC at the moment and starting to think about testing out Range MW / Smallbore instead. Base range is definitely NOT the play on this thing whatever the case, it's crazy how much different it feels with just Steady Rounds vs Accurized applied (and this is coming from a controller player).

@@JH-vb1wo Each to their own, if it helps you slay, great. Depends a bit on the rest of your roll but I ran Steady for a few hours of Iron Banner and it was quite a bit less effective in the crit department. The aim assist is very low on this weapon and for a pulse the range is pretty middling. Also, keep in mind Rapid Hit adds 25 stability at x5. With Stability MW alone you get to 99 stability with rapid hit maxed out; with Steady Rounds anything over x3 is going to be wasted in the example used here.

if you get the stability high enough, recoil direction literally doesn't matter because the kick's not going anywhere. truevanguard showed off multiple clips of his max stability rolled one in crucible and it's a literal beam

Thanks a lot for this breakdown - it was a great video, subscribed! It was really eye-opening the way you broke down the win-now / win-later aspect of perks! As a casual below-average player that's trying to catch up (I just got back into Destiny a couple months ago), I've been too scared to jump into PvP because I feel like my below-average skills and inexperience combined with below-average weapons and loadouts pose too steep of a hurdle for me to feel like I could positively contribute to my team. I recently unlocked the Disparity pattern and I love pulse rifles, so understanding what perks benefit me, rather than some nebulous 'god-roll' that is best for skilled / above-average players, will be super helpful (I'm not a fan of the term). I'm also working on the patterns for Piece of Mind and the Battler. I know I need to give myself the best chance to win that first duel and not worry about going on a streak, so I'm leaning toward Eye of the Storm + Headseeker. Now to level up the weapon and see if I can afford to Masterwork it.

I was doing work with Disparity, Heating Up and Desperado. I was playing so slowly, I didn’t even really utilize Desperado much, and it still did very well. Secondary was the Trials sidearm, felt so good.

This video is great, and it's a lot more than just "Best Disparity" guide. I've always struggled with traditional god rolls as they don't fit my style of play in the crucible. Been playing with perks that suit me and it has transformed my experience. I am aggressive, but often not mechanically skilled enough to pull it off, things like eye of the storm and headskeer have become perks that help me bridge the deficiencies in my gameplay. Im fine on movement im alright at reading the situation, but I tend to fall short when I commit to an action in terms of raw aim skill. Some perks help with that and that's what I love about this game.

I'm torn between rapid hit and moving target. So much so, I crafted 2 of them. They are now the perfect partners to my brass attack. Beautiful weapon.

Great video. I was looking to craft this thing and have tried a few roles in PvP. The roll I've crafted and settled on is Arrowhead, Accurised, Stability MW, Rapid Hit and Headseeker (both enhanced). I tried Eye of the Storm, but I didn't like having to wait until mid-duel to see the benefits. I like Rapid Hit as if you start the duel (i.e. see them and shoot them first), it benefits a little more. That's just my take. The range is an interesting point - even with 19 zoom and my roll with 77 range & 74 stability, I sometimes feel like it's not as accurate as my crafted Insidious (18 zoom, 86 range, 75 stability, rapid hit and rampage). I 100% agree that it all comes down to what you want the gun to do and how you play. I also got a random drop of outlaw + headstone for my PVE Stasis Behemoth Titan build, leveraging Heart of Inmost Light - it's nuts. My fellow Titans, try this roll out for sure.

Stability all the way for me; it's not meant to be used as a scout rifle. One has to physically move closer to the target before engaging. Crafted a custom syncopation with 99 stability and finally starting to win gunfights !

I really like Moving Target and Headseeker. Loading up on tons and tons of Aim Assistance. For the barrels I like Fluted for the Handling, Flared for the Mag. I can feel the trait combo doing a lot of the work for me. I can be playing bad but I have Handcannon Aim Assist on my Pulse Rifle so the weapon is doing a ton of the work for me anyways so I'm totally fine. I'm willing to give No Distractions a shot as I definitely overlooked it. Seems like it could be a decent option for Comp or Trials if teams are playing back.

I crafted my first one yesterday and at lvl 1 with polygonal and steady, moving tsrg and headseeker and I had the highest kill and kd games ive had in literal years. I was completely blown away, the stability with headseeker and ambush is actually extremely reliable, I felt very comfortable dueling

First gun I crafted this season. First thought desperado, then kill clip. But I honestly landed on Headseeker... Second gun I crafted was Retro, third was Ikelos Smg... Oh I'm looking forward to Lightfall's Legendary Campaign, little offnote... Went Polygon, steady rounds, eye of storm, headseeker, stability MW. Enhanced perks give 100 stability. Feels stupid good!

This is one of my favorite pulses having the ability to craft the perfect stats is great. I went with chambered and steady rounds plus stability masterwork.. 94 stability is insane u will never get flinched and hit those shots. I’m using rapid hit kill clip right now but I plan on doing a headseeker roll

This gun is simply wonderful. Nothing super wild with crazy new combos, just a very consistent, very reliable rifle. It's not as close to my heart as Blast Furnace when that first came out but damn if it doesn't hit the same notes.

your division in now and later is spot on personally i only ever go for 'now' perks i like the consistency, i want my gun to perform the same, even if it may be worse at its peak to some degree even in PvE: I heavily dislike desperado. it just messes me up when the weapon changes like that.

As a PvE player who sucks at pvp, saying what do I want more to win now or bank and win later, and then pointing out the combos, really helps me out. I do not trust myself in living any gunfight nor expecting getting multi kills, so I always prefer the win now option so that in the case that I do, at least I can come out living.

After watching True Vanguard's video on Disparity, I went stability with my barrel and mag perks - polygonal, steady rounds, rapid hit/headseeker and a range masterwork with targeting adjuster. It's a great, great gun.

I have Sacred Provenance with Ricochet Rounds, Rapid Hit, Head speaker w/ 85 recoil Direction + (Handling MW). Can't wait to craft this one to compare!

This thing is SO GOOD. I crafted mine with arrowhead steady rounds and range mw its got 70 range 81 stabil and 42 handling with enhanced moving target and headseeker. Its the first pulse Ive actually dug my teeth into. So consistent and massive damage relatively easy to use. So much fun. Im on ps5 feels perfect just uugghhhhh

I have only done garden of salvation once and I was lucky enough to get a 5/5 sacred provenance. At the time I got it it wasn’t 5/5 but since they buffed headseeker it feels amazing. It’s arrowhead, ricochet, rapid hit, headseeker and a range MW. As redundant as it may seem I plan on crafting the disparity the same way. The gun feels so good and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

I haven't tested this perk combo in game yet however on paper the best combo for dueling from what I'm seeing is (Arrowhead, Steady Rounds, Eye of the Storm, Headseeker). On paper it just seems to have the best overall stat coverage + some recoil direction. I'll edit this once i've actually tried it but just wanted to put this out there.

I have really come to appreciate heating up and eye of the storm since I got a Yesteryear with that combo with hammer-forged ricochet and a range masterwork this gun has made me a better player.

I agree Kill Clip is currently better than Desperado in most situations. I already have a Sacred Provenance with Rapid Hit and Kill Clip so I went ahead and crafted my Disparity with Desperado.

I have a few of these I want to craft for PvE; Rapid Hit & Frenzy for general play, something with Headstone for Stasis synergy and something with Pugilist for melee - Pugilist & Headstone could be fun on Hunter, creating crystals and getting extra melee energy. For PvP specifically though I wonder how it compares to Syncopation, since they both get Headseeker but Syncopation is Suros and Adaptives perform better at base.

I have a rapid hit + head seeker provenance. W over 2k kills (casual). I always thought I wanted kill clip but this preforms so well for me and surprises me with the number of two bursts it lets me get out. I recommend this roll allot.
