So The Conductor is a complete copy of Maya. And Lakshmi-2 was an incomplete copy of The Conductor, seems like. Now that we got both Lakshmi-2 & The Conductor in game, same dimension, same timeline, that's what it appears to be.. 🤔 Maybe Maya was trying to use the Dark powers of The Veil to build an Exo army of herself to invade the Vex Net- Wait... WHOA.. These new "Choral Vex" could ALL BE HER! 😮

Whats still interesting to me is that we still havent really seen the Vex. Apparently we've only seen the vex drones, there are other forms of Vex that are supposedly way different than what we've faced so far.

Surely the Ishtar Collective symbol at the end of the Wish-Keeper quest also hinted that they would have something to do with this episode anyways, since it was part of the last season? That's how I see it anyway, it at least has something to do with them.

The Exotic quest in act 3 is going to be CRAZY lore wise! And the name of the exotic makes so much sense!!! Choir of One!!! 😃

We need raids based off the end of these act 3’s instead of just making these bosses we toss for a story end, they don’t have to try being better than salvations but just make it feel fulfilling

Not watching the video cause im kinda invested in the story for this season, but my money is on Maya Sundaresh.

I just realized that means Lakshmi knew of neomuna all the way up until she died. I doubt the idea of her actually coming from Neomuna wasn't thought up until after she died, but its still a cool idea to think she knew there was another 'last city' and didn't tell anyone

I was hoping that the conductor was saint from the original timeline, that the vex were able to simulate or revive somehow

This is such a cool looking character. Mysterious, powerful and gives a personal face to a rather boring enemy like the Vex. I hope they don’t throw away all of this work they did on designing the conductor by killing her in a simple episode. Shes literally wielding an echo of the witness, which makes her powerful. A character like this deserves a raid or maybe a raid lair.

Maybe the conductor was the friends we made along the way 🤔🤔🤔

Lask2 was based off of Maya in her first cycle as an exo....makes sorta sense that the same exo frame would suit her form

It could very well be both a copy of maya that came from the vex network itself given there’s so many copies of her there’s definitely gotta be a dominant one whose in charge.

If maya / lakshimi was in the conductors seat at the veil then it has to be maya sundaresh. Lore from veil containment in Lightfall

tbf Its pretty damn hard to kill a vex unless you completely vaporize it with a light ability or something. Cause if you just destroy it and it falls apart, sure some data is lost, but the radiolaria can probably just join with other radiolaria and reform

Hopefully she survives after the episode is over. First time i feel like the Vex have progressed into an enemy to care about since the beginning.

From what I am understanding sangoresh was the original name of lakshmi before exo that means both of them are the same person means they are both the conductor

The root mind, the boot sequence, what will the difference be in this attempt vs osiris'? Is it part of "future safe"? Maybe theyll demonstrate how an interaction within the network from a past, set up present in a literal way, its effects upon reality = true...and the implications there after.

I really like the conductors design, and the fact that they haven’t shown who she is fully, it adds a bit of mystery, hope they don’t just kill her off at the end of the episode

It’s MS12. While this is very cool and makes the Vex more interesting, it doesn’t feel that mysterious. We know about the copies of the researchers in the network and “conductor” has been mentioned in Veil Containment. I don’t think it’s the original Maya becoming the conductor it’s one of her copies in the network who was watching and learning from her research the whole time. They’re the same person, MS12 learned from the real Maya’s research and figured out how to control Vex in the same manner. The real question is why now, and what’s her end game ?

I haven't really been able to catch up on Destiny lore and I honsetly forgot about this. I thought the Conductor was possibly a surviving Precursor from the Witness. But if the Conductor is the mind of Maya Sundaresh, the the question is: what woke her up? My bet's still on a surviving Precursor. Something launched from the Traveler, and that I think is it!
