Yeah, the guy's animations look really silted and mechanical. I'm pretty indifferent about it because I'm going to spend the game shooting stuff, but the double-standard people have with this stuff is kind of perplexing.

Destiny is about gunplay though, Mass Effect is half interactions.

Every new dlc didn't just add single player content they added weapons which are used in both single player and multiplayer, to keep the servers open for those without guns they'd have to check every single weapon each of the 12 players is using in order to make sure it's not dlc and then make sure they aren't using any dlc power ups or shaders or taunts, it's a lot of hassle for little reward and since this doesn't work like Hearts of Iron 4 where you can pick whatever version you want to play and keep playing there's no real plausible way to do this on console

Swift You're crazy the jump from the halo games is nothing like Destiny 1 & 2. Some people may say this looks like a dlc but from something like CE and 2 you can tell that was a sequel. It improved almost everyway from graphics to even gameplay where they tweaked how the guns work like aim assist Br to feel super satisfying.

Kevin Nguyen Im certain guns have been tweaked in destiny 2. They changed the whole loadout system to make shotguns and snipers less op.

Except for the part where the gameplay is EXTREMELY different between all of the Halo games! Not hating on Destiny, just thought I'd mention it. EDIT: Halo also revolutionized the way we play video games on multiple occasions through all three of the original trilogy.

Ever played dark souls or Bloodborne? No facial animations. At all. But it's still one of the best franchises ever conceived.

dark souls and bloodborne work with that because if there's no facial animations, it's understood by the player that there was never meant to be anything there for that. If you add in bad facial animations, it detracts from the experience however due to how you notice that it's implemented poorly and makes the human-like characters seem just uncanny and weird and unrelatable. Read up on the Uncanny Valley, it's interesting stuff about how as technology helps to show more human-like characters, when it's performed well enough to be human-like but just weirdly off people are turned away from it because it's creepy in a way. I personally don't care that the facial animations in this trailer were off, but they were and it was obvious, I just can't wait for the content and the meat of the game itself. It still doesn't excuse the poor implementation and how it detracts from the experience for others however.
