@@BullseyeFire I think it takes longer to complete and it doesn't drop anything powerful nor random rolls, so it isn't necessary to run it unless Bungie brings it up to current raids like LW and SotP

I honestly hate Leviathan, mostly because of the gauntlet. I've rarely been in groups where everyone knows what they're supposed to do, or what other people are doing. Takes longer than even Calus. At that point why bother.

The reason it's hard to do a DPS breakdown is because Parasitism continuously causes damage per bullet to ramp up, so DPS is not going to be consistent throughout the fight.

@@ryn193 I mean, it's certainly very good... but in each of these tests, there's almost certainly a weapon that will do better in a specific scenario. outbreak is probably one of the most versatile dps weapons in the game, since it can be used against almost any boss to very good effect, but its a "jack of all trades, master of none" deal... Datto himself said it in the video

Personally, it being a primary kinetic, I say that makes it better then any of the powerhouse weapons. Allows you to use a rocket/sword/ANYTHING you want in heavy/special.. while being able to clear adds/be a good weapon normally. Whereas powerhouse weapons are mainly just dps.

It also allows you to spend your power ammo on anything, and it is great against ads too, still love this weapon, we used it on caretaker after running dry on all other ammo on third floor, was good enough to finish the last stand

If you wanted to test how high nanites can stack you could load into a 9-man escalation protocol and underlight yourselves so you have more time for the nanites to bunch up

Not really, the catalyst just gives extra nanites for killing a target with nanites attached. That makes no difference against a boss, just extra add clear potential.

Idk lol yeah no. i did miss that the nanite damage itself is buffed by the catalyst but i don’t know if nanite damage is increased by stacking them or just the bullets but the nanites already are added for repeated bursts, that has nothing to do with the catalyst

I think the nanite « limit » is the fact that they last 6 seconds , meaning that you can only get as many nanites weakening a target as you can produce in six seconds . After that , new nanites are just replacing the original ones . But that might be different if you jeadshot a bunch of trash mobs near a boss .

I went into last wish as a titan last week and while my fireteam was killing the captains an exotic dropped, I was exited because that was the first time an exotic engram dropped from a random enemy and I was praying for one eyed mask.... I got a graviton lance

I see it better than guns like thunderbird because of one reason, ammo. Sometimes heavy and special ammo drops like candy but it can also drop like rain in the desert

I still think it would be cool to damage test the outbreak prime comparing it to other weapons. For example out break prime, 1 phases the SotP boss while whisper 2 phases, so maybe it is better than popular weapons in some situations which would be cool to test.

Outbreak Perfected truely deserves it name. The nanite buffing and how other outbreaks can applify more and more boosts for everyone reminds me on how Ratking gets better with more ratkings around. I can't believe it, but Bungie added a Ratking 2.0 to the game if you think about it

Probably not going to be top tier for raids, but it WILL be really good in Gambit, where heavy is more scarce and unreliable.

For a lot of the average skilled teams, this will absolutely be top tier. It is a kinetic weapon, so it is immediately much more forgiving than any heavy due to its ammo capacity, especially with Whisper. It is also much easier for average players to use as it is easier to get headshots with a pulse rifle than with a sniper on many of the raid bosses, and even if you do miss a headshot, it is completely neglible because you fire rounds so much faster than a sniper, linear fusion, or rocket launcher.

U could do a damage test on calus with 10 skills he should live long enough to stack the nanites also Argos during stun phase not sure if there is enough time be his shield goes back up to do that though Or mabye get a couple more seconds on inserection prime by not doing the mechanic during damage
