Small helpful tip: the harpies do no damage if YOU kill them by any means, including with a melee or a kinetic weapon. Even though they look like they explode, it does not damage.

This dungeon is more endurance than anything, don’t rush the encounters and you’ll be fine

Final Boss Tip: Go into the Reactor Room after damage phases. Once you clear the few leftovers in that room, it's completely empty and safe. The harpies will not fully enter the room and can be safely killed from a distance. The Hydras can be tagged with Witherhoard as you emote safely out of sight.

Just a quick tip for Solar Warlocks: Equip Ember of Ashes so that every 2 grenades will create an Ignition instead of every 3 grenades. Easy bonus damage.

Something else to note for non well-locks for the final boss. The boss being a Wyvern means it takes bonus damage from supers vs regular weapon damage (which is why well works so good since it makes weapon damage count as supers). This is why you might find it's taking far too long to kill the boss on a build that doesn't use supers (like for Lorely Sunbreakers). Use whatever you're comfortable with but keep in mind you can potentially cut down your number of damage phases almost in half depending on if you use a good damage super for this fight.

First boss tip for my Titans out there: At the end of damage phases before Akelous overcharges its shields, drop a barrier. You won't get pushed back or damaged by the explosion.

The fan blades were actually yoinked from Zero Hour, and you can actually safely pass them by jumping down the wall divets. Also, I use DMT for eyes because the hip fire actually does very well at clearing them. Also it fits thematically.

After a damage phase (Or at the beginning of the encounter) you can immediately go and chill in the “node room” and it’s completely safe. You can gather your bearings and slowly take care of the hydras without dying to supplicants. Estorick made a vid of this and the spawn patterns which was EXTREMELY HELPFUL.

For warlocks I can't stress how valuable Karnstein armlets are the entire dungeon. Anytime you're not on a boss dps phase you should have these on as it will save your life many times, well of life is great for small residual healing too.

I cannot stress enough how good synthos titan with behemoth and whisper of fissures is on this boss. You can easily take out a third of his health each phase by leaving the 2 goblins alive for the synthos buff and your behemoth super becomes the dps and gives a consistent 3 phase

8:52 a tip for this section that I found out is you can hide under the platforms that some of the nodes are and the boss will completely ignore you and no other enemies will come near you so it works great to heal up or wait for ur super to charge. it really helped me out lol

For eyes on the harpy boss I used long arm. With any damage buff (like well, bubble, or solo operative) you can one shot the eyes. It’s also really good for killing the small harpies

Something I am noticing in this dungeon more than others is the difference your input device makes. Mouse seems to make popping the eyes on the first boss much easier/faster than on controller.

I think behemoth Tutan is underrated for the boss fight. Extremely easy to get shards using a glacier grenade or hoarfrost. HFZ is my favorite as it allows me to get the benefits of a barricade, get charged with light and front of might on demand and healing from the crystals. Witherhoard, SMG, Rocket launcher, mods elemental shards, elemental charge , HEF and font of might The bump in the night was perfect for this boss. Harpy solar titan was the move

Warlocks, in the boss room I highly recommend pairing heat rises with Phoenix dive. Healing rift is too stationary and will likely lead to death via supplicant. Proc heat rises and use it to float over everything. The damage coming from below won't be enough to kill you (unless its the boss). Phoenix dive will proc restoration with HH active, giving the heals you will need. Shoot witherhoard at the ground directly below you to eliminate any supplicants. Also consuming your grenade will give a cure and an additional heal if needed. 100% recommend the demo rocket for damage - i used a demo/vorpal bump in the night. Good damage cycles can lead to a hard 4 phase but more than likely you'll get an easy 5 phase

Cartesian Coordinate works great for destroying the eyes too, you can drag it to kill multiple with 1 shot

Anyone watching this again after hitting rank 10 and needing to solo a dungeon as one of the requirements

If the cyclops in the first room a problem, you can start all 4 connections and then kill them because they respawn every time you start one of the connections

Tip for warlocks: use Icarus dash for easy supplicant explosion baits. You can take out heat rises and your stare fire build will still be fine.

I actually beat it on my 2nd attempt, First attempt i died titan flying across first jumping puzzle to the hobgoblins sniping me lmaooo, Once I beat it I got the bow which i had been missing so I was super happy. Universal Tip for every class: TAKE YOUR TIME on the bosses. It took me like 8 phases to kill final boss and 5-6 for the 1st boss. It’s slow and tedious, but once you learn how to play careful this dungeon is honestly relatively easy to solo flawless.

Hey I used solar Titan for my flawless. You don't need elemental wells with gally, 3x argent, 1 super charged, and 1 taking charge. Just use harmonic syphon and the fragment that lets you spawn orbs with ignitions. Also phoenix cradle was a big help with ignoring adds when I had to shoot nodes and boogey on out. The extra sunspot time was way more useful in the final boss encounter than I thought.

Cleared on my Titan. I HIGHLY recommend just doing Hammer Super with Roaring x3, Synthoceps, and Weakened Clear. Finished in 6-7 phases, it’s far and away the safest setup for Final Boss dps.

After going through this solo once on my warlock and then again on my hunter; star eater scales and Orpheus rig is the goat for damage. I ran Orpheus and ghorn for the final boss and only used a machine gun and supers for damage on akelous. Was way easier than linears and witherhoard due to the damage being essentially guaranteed

I've found decent success using any kinetic blinding launcher and Anarchy on Warlock too. The idea is you trade up-front weapon damage for faster recharge times on your fusion nades w/Starfire. With Persys taking more damage from abilities than weapons, this setup can be helpful for getting more consistent and higher dps cycles, in addition to the added safety provided by your blinding gl. I understand not everyone may have an Anarchy just casually lying around, but it's an excellent option if you do, I just wanted to bring it up since I see almost no one talking about it. 👍

Caliban's Hand builds are some of my favorite builds in the game and the healing from the solar wells with Well of Life is just a nice bonus

Super tip for final boss: Leviathan's breath STAGGERS him in EVERY shot, he can't fight back, and you can shot up to 5 times before he get's inmune again. Pair ir with well or even gryfalcon (the bow is void and the secondary explosion triggers volatile) and you have an easy third ecounter, just focus on cleaning the arena before and get as much ammo as you can

Stasis Warlocks can use their Super pulse to activate multiple nodes simultaneously without even looking at them, makes the first encounter especially a breeze.

12:11 For the first set of fan blades you can use the slots in the wall and fall down until you get to the final blade and use your jump/glide/lift to make sure you don't touch the last blade. For the second set of fan blades when you first enter go straight ahead and drop down the slot in the wall, then turn around 180 and drop down again. EZ fan blades. I guess Datto forgot about the slots in the wall lol tbf last time we saw something like that was clear back during the outbreak perfected mission.

I used solar hunter with marksmen golden gun for harpy and blade barrage for second boss. My build was assassins cowl with explosive knives, melee well-maker, well of life, font of might, healing grenade, and the aspect that makes solar final blows extend restoration and radiant. I used Calus Mini-Tool, Arbelist (great for hydras and backup DPS when heavy is out) and storm chaser for harpy and swapped for reeds regret on last boss (don't have cataclysmic). Ive solo flawlessed every dungeon in D2 and this one over all isn't too bad at all. the part thats gonna mess alot of people up is the final boss he will basically insta-kill you if you get to close to him and the supplicants are also very dangerous lol i'd recommend double void resist up until the last boss then go double concussive dampener. Another thing that's really gonna help you is knowing exactly where the nodes you have to shoot are so you can get in and get out fast and always be on the move. Go in with a team to practice the node locations, once you have them mastered its gonna make the boss far easier. Overall this one is still one of the easier ones IMO. Duality is defiantly still the most difficult solo flawless because you are not only fighting the enemies but the run-ruining bugs as well and can lose your run due to no fault of your own.

About Solar Titan: since 3.0 I've been running Synthos regardless of planning or not planning to use them for dps, they're just great in combat in general and for survivability I run Sunspots with Well Of Life, something like "artificial Restoration x2"

If you're comfortable with the Ikelos weapons, I've found global reach warmind cells extremely helpful in dealing with the Arc nodes in small to medium areas. Ikelos tends to be the most reliable way I've found to spawn them, especially with a God roll smg.

Short tip I got from the mano destra vid on this dungeon: on the second encounter the harpies spawn when you finish a node on all other sides that are not closed yet. That means you can kill all harpies before damage and they will not respawn, helped me a lot with flinch since missing a LFR shot really hurts :)

for the life of me I have no idea how anyone can get Akelous' eyes down so fast. It's taking more than half of my DPS phase to do it.

Intro: -Much like datto said, do all the nodes in one go so that supplicants dont spawn. 1st Mid Section: -Take your time with the platforming. Warlock should use heat rises, Titans Lions, and Hunters with Stompies. Using a sword is very helpful to navigate. 1st Encounter: - Memorizing the node location is crucial if you want to ignore the ads. You should also take the same advice of double completing the nodes so that more ads dont spawn and you have more arctrician time. 2nd Encounter: -Grenades with big aoe like Vortex or Fusion will be your best friend given the ad density. Constantly moving also prevents the boss from shooting you as the boss hits HARD. 2nd Mid Section: -The fans actually have a hole/passage where you can safely fall without risking getting hit by them. And please for the love God do not stand where the floor opens. It will kill you. Final Boss/3rd Encounter: - Always move. Always think there's a supplicant waiting to get the jump on you. DO NOT STOP MOVING. Take advantage of the second room after each damage phase as no ads spawn aside from the ads that aren't dead prior the damage phase. Take a breather in that room or swap weapons if needed.

Note for final boss. Legendary GL plus Grand Overture is amazing for dps. Check our Chablo's video on it. Can get reliable 3 to 4 phases on damage

arc hunter's combination blow allows you to safely melee exploding enemies like supplicants cause it vaporizes them

If you do not have witherhoard with the catalyst for the Final Boss, use Osteo Striga. You can craft it, the poison damage ramps up, and it does the same thing for starfire protocol and being empowered that witherhoard does. Use a grenade launcher with vorpal and auto lauding. Now idk if it can be blinded but I had spiked on my grenade launcher. Another tip for warlocks: if you run stasis and have the catalyst for agers specter, you will absolutely melt the chunky giant harpy. Throw on mantle of battle harmony for excellent add clear and use a pulse rifle to hit the nodes. After clearing adds there should be plenty of ammo bricks laying around. Save the last node and switch to a gl over your pulse and pick up ammo then start damage phase. Use the scepter to rapidly destroy the eyes and then switch to your gl. With weaken clear you’ll auto reload your scepter and weaken the boss of course. Switch back to your scepter and just unload on it. If you have font of might and elemental shards equipped, you’ll always have font of might proccing. Take your time have fun 😊

A couple of extra tips for the dungeon: 1. Controller players absolutely need to kill almost everything for the first boss. You WILL get flinched out of hitting your shot if even one thing shoots you (which sucks because it ruins dps) 2. Warlocks should absolutely use Karnstien’s when not is dps and use heat rises to eat your grenade for instant health and so you can make jumps easier 3. Supplicants do not explode at all if killed in any way. So if one rushes you, kill it before it explodes. They don’t work the same as other exploding units (it’s why they can move so quickly) 4. Finally, don’t risk dps over your life. If your dps gets messed up for some reason just get safe and do it again

Nice I did a arc- assassins coke hunter run. Looks a bit easier on titan lol, I managed it about a week after it dropped so no buff😢

Used almost the same loadout for all three encounters fusion rifle, Trinity Ghoul and linear. TG helped out a ton with ad clear and the disintegration of the supplicants prevents them from exploding which saved me a few times. A fusion rifle is also really good at taking out the eyes just avoid the slower charging ones.

First time I’ve done a solo flawless dungeon before a datto guide!

On wellock I've been having great success with Grand Overture XD Get 20 missiles, start damage, well, autoloading GL, missiles, 20 rounds, GL, missiles.

I’ve been using Arc Hunter with Izanagi, a hothead with lasting impression and auto loading, Star Eaters and Gathering Storm, makes an absolute mockery of the dungeon, I’m at 7 solo flawless runs so far with it…. And still no exotic drop.

My one piece of advice for this is patience. The bosses *especially the wyvern* are endurance tests more than anything, just take ur time and youll be alright gamers :)

For the first boss, I was using Solar Warlock. In a Well, Polaris Lance can one shot eyes (may need Solo Operative seasonal mod too, haven't personally confirmed) and won't require a reload if you hit shots, since they are crits . This also allows for quick harpy clear since they have easy crit spots, but does use up the exotic slot.

On Persys, I’ve found solar titan with xenophage, font of might, and a swap to actium war rig for dps to be quite effective. Might help reduce the chance of future 10 phase runs.

I know no seasonal mods but nades or weapons that cause disruption also lower combatants damage. Suppies will do less than half damage when exploding on you when disrupted.

I killed final boss in 6 phases on solar titan. Witherhoard, calus mini, ascendancy (AA and EL). There are two goblins that will stay in middle where you dps. Leave them alive so you can easily refresh/ build stacks of roaring flames, radiant, and font of might right at dps. Witherhoard, 2 rockets, super, and then use what you have.

For hunters: star eater scales w Goldie is super good for the last 2 encounters: managed to 3 phase the 2nd encounter and took me 5 for the boss. Also you don’t need any switching and stuff. (Recommend using healing grenade aswell, saved my butt multiple times)

Ended up 9-phasing him on bonk titan with Grand Overture. Charged up GO at the beginning of each phase by running into the reactor room and just shooting, then just unloaded all the missiles at start of DPS and used Hammer of Sol on him the rest of the time.

22:00 for starfire warlocks you can add an energy vorpal autoloading/demo nade launcher and cycle that into the rotation. witherhoard, rocket nade, launcher. It does a lot more DMG and allows you to two phase. I recommend salvagers salvo from kiosk, before I got that I used a autoloading vorpal wilderflight. And if you are going to use bump in the night don't use chillclip like the video recommends. That's terrible for solo and should only be used if someone is giving you wolfpack rounds and even then you only want one guy to run it. Use frenzy on bump.

I can't verify this, but I've heard the fans have slots in the wall you can jump through and then back to the middle, similar to Zero Hour

Void Hunters should consider The Sixth Coyote chest exotic. Couple it with mobility mods & class ability regeneration mods, as well as Stylish Executioner, and maybe even Rat King, and you can sneak through just about any dungeon. You'll be able to stay stealthed longer AND pop it more frequently. Usually this allows 3x invis in a row, because your first of the double-stacked class abilities will recharge by the time your 2nd invis is done.

For final boss be careful around those minotaurs. They can glitch out ontop of you if you get too close.

I do recomend arc titan in the last encounter, with skull fort you can shoulder charge the suplicants and the blinding will stop them from killing you, and it heals you on kills, change to falling star and do rockets with storm nade, with argent ordenance, that setup gave me the kill in 4 - 5 rotations depends on ammo

Another good DPS weapon is the rockets from Grand Overture. I ran this on Void Hunter and used Pardon Our Dust to weaken, 3x Mobius Quiver via Orpheus then unleashed all 20 rockets and used the regular fire as I was backing out of the first room into the Reactor Room so as to rebuild rockets and get some extra DPS.

My favorite way to clear eyes for Akelous was to use Forerunner since it would pop them in one shot and you get 12 shots for 12 eyes, and to apply Weakened Clear this season I would hot swap my energy weapon to Empty Vessel before I started DPS making sure to grab some ammo as well since switching from a primary to a special leaves it empty.

Anecdotally, I tried double special w/ trace rifle for the ugly harpy boss and found special ammo to be lacking. Ikelos SMG can take out eyes just as quick with one reload in between. Voltshot also erases suplicants w/o the explosion.

During the first boss fight I used DMT with Vorpal. Mostly for a long range option to deal with the Harpies that would constantly harass me, it was also great at eyes due to Vorpal making DMT a oneshot. For damage I used Reed's regret, Triple Tap, Vorpal.

Starfire Protocol is so stupidly strong in the final boss. I don't really have the optimal rotation down for witherhoard/rockets/grenades, and my hothead doesn't even have perks like demo or vorpal, yet despite all that I still got a fairly comfortable 4 phase. One thing I'd like to add though is to echo what I've seen other people saying about using Phoenix Dive. You will not be using your rifts in this fight. You just won't. Standing in one spot for more than a couple seconds means death. If you get in a tough spot, just eat one of your fusion grenades for a burst of cure. I finally solo'd this boss with an empowering rift on, and I think I maybe used it once in the entire fight to kill a hydra from the safety of the reactor room. Use Phoenix Dive, the extra heal option will be a god send. (Also back to eating your grenades, I did it for the health, but proccing heat rises can be very helpful in this fight too for just staying off the ground.)

Arc titan nade build with knockout and with well of life HOIL curiass hot swap gave me a ton of survivability along with damage. If you’re good at keep the boss away from you, then I’d recommend throwing your grenades at any sups and they should be little harm. Also if you position yourself about 5 meters away from a sup you can easily and safely thunderclap them without an explosion and they will give you health back, note this only works when you don’t have more sups or the boss looking at your back

The witherhoard nerf is only for the pool on the ground and not the DOT of the blight you get by directly sticking a target, so it's a barely noticeable nerf

Just got alllllll the way to the boss and got super unlucky. Killed me while I was white bar health instantly to 0 on death screen with just lucky shots. I was in a lorelei sunspot as well but the boss just plug walked into the reactor room, and then onto the left side platform and towards the back of the room. Shit has never happened in my like 10 runs of this dungeon but oh well. I will attempt once more on the weekend. I wish all of the players luck that are doing this in season of the wish

Contrary to Datto's advice on using a roaming super: solar titans should use their super after a full linear cycle (or if you miss a crit) for the harpy boss. You can continue to deal damage to the boss after it goes immune for a little bit of extra damage on top.

Last seasons Pinnacle Grenade Launcher Cry Mutiny works really well with Witherhoard+Starfire.

Caliban’s hand could be good, but it requires an optimal set up and situation to keep the rotation of continuous restoration. Assassin’s cowl, I’m sure is good, but I wouldn’t risk it if you’re using arc. Gyrfalcon is probably your best bet if you want constant invisibility/devour as a hunter. Since the Minotaurs have void shields, volatile on top of easy orbs for devour are the best. Renewal Grasps could be good, but your grenade uptime needs to be quick.

I managed not to die on my hunter for the entire dungeon..I was in a fireteam though 🙃 and I think the triumph is glitched 😑 I haven't actually soloed a dungeon yet but this guide is brilliant once again. You're a saint Datto sir 🙏

I did mine with solar titan with synthos, never used the helm because hammer heals so no reason for an extra heal. For the final boss dps I use burning maul, would get my x3 hit with either hoard for the weaken, pop, use a heavy and then spin like crazy. After the super is done drop another either hoard and bait and switch for a few shots. The first boss takes awhile if you mess up the set up, but try to have ads near and get font of might and bait and switch it up.

For titan first boss I do Titan slam+exotic Wither and taipan High energy fire Start off dps with wither shot, throw grenade and instant super, after instantly start shooting your linear and got to pound town.

Honestly one of the easier solo flawlesses imo. The DPS check is the big thing but if you can hit that you'll be in and out in under an hour.

I tip is to allways run healing nades and jump a bunch during dps phase

I had to dps the final boss about 13 times with my under-leveled guardian but overall the solo experience felt great for this dungeon

A little late to the comments but I was using solar titan with wh and ascendancy (ambitious assassin for 2 rockets) and switch to super. I was getting consistent 1.2m damage per phase. About 5 damage phases for the last boss.

Arc titan can also work on persys. I used hothead and thundercrash with cuirass and 6 phased, staying alive was a bit more stressful though

For a Starefire warlock, what would be more important: a solar rocket with Font but no damage perks like Datto uses, or a Bump in the Night with Demo/Chill Clip for shatter damage but no Font?

Surprised you didn't mention the survivability of void Titan on the last encounter especially with heart of Inmost and a rally barricade!
