Don’t go repeating what people say as a joke on Twitter. Yes the witness is doing actions “freezing the world over” but they’re doing that not in the desire to exert control over stuff they own like Mr Ferrel, who wants his money spent to not be whacked out…. Meanwhile the witness believes everything that exists deserves the salvation of being preserved in their greatest moments because they cannot do so themselves. Which I mean if you really want to compare sword logic, yeah “winners win because they win” and trying to unturn that by basically doing what Eris did and give up power isn’t really conducive to a battle of light and dark

​@@TH_Sofa Eris and the battle against the hive was infinitely more interesting and relevant to the light and dark saga than this. I do not and have not used twitter ever in my life, which tells you how uninspired people know this plot is. The witness doesnt want "salvation of peoples greatest moment" or whatever flowery pseudo-lore master bs you're trying to weave, he just wants to stop the universe in its tracks because nothing makes sense and/or is worthwhile to continue existing. The world is chaotic and we wre thrusted upon it without consent and this is just another variation of "life is meaningless i just want to help people get over it", which Arcanum and ten thousand over games and books and movies have done all in a few titles and not in a saga over 10yos. I didnt expect less from writers who didnt know what their main antagonist actually was until 3 years down the line

@@guibeck8259 Well it is name of the game if you want to point out the "life is meaningless i just want to help people get over it" type beat. Eris morn's battle with the hive and her potential future being witch queen still technically possible is what you'll get in D3 then I suppose
