Its probably because Halo was pretty basic as a scifi game (as in it was close to the fundamental elements of most scifi genres, and never really expanded). Loved the games myself, but its never really been about the story. Personally im finding the gameplay much more rewarding on destiny, and while the story definitely needs work, we could have said the same about halo 1 at the time (lets be honest, half the background to the entire halo story we take for granted now wasnt even an afterthought for many players during halo 1).

JJAB91 Or it's just your mindset, saying "BUNGIE = HALO BUNGIE = HALO BUNGIE = HALO" It isn't that much like Halo at all, sure they share similarities, its the same company, but it isnt halo and Borderlands at all (Btw i nearly has nothing to do with borderlands, Borderlands is pure loot whoring, over Millions of weapons while Destiny got a set amount of Weapons differing in skill trees) Just because it involves loot it isn't borderlands, then you can say it Warframe aswell, or Defiance, or Diablo or path of exile. it's sci-fi it's hard to look different from Halo that much without looking like copying another sci-fi story.

This is so true man. The hype for this game was like "GONNA HAVE GREAT STORY, BE SUPER EXCITING AND HAVE LOADS OF CONTENT!" It was the opposite of all those things. But nah I'm not gonna hate. Destiny is a very fun game and quiye enjoyable, especially when playing the strike missions. Good video guys

I highly doubt that so far destiny is a game scoring a 57/100 imo but they brought way to many good games to the table this will be their first fuck up or they might fix it BUT in a sea of broken boring shit games Destiny isn't enough to bring down a team with such a streak especially with the MC collection of halo 1-4 no doubt enticing the fans for Halo 5 but since bungie doesn't own halo anymore and destiny is their own game bungie could die at any moment the only thing stopping that are halo 1,2,3 and reach but the fans still remember those games and so bungie wont die yet from one fuckup

yeah Destiny is a lot like Halo but that's fine. It was a cool idea about mixing a fps with a multiplayer experience. Where they went wrong, is that pretty much every mission is the same, but with more shooting. There's no variety or creativity. There was way more creativity put into the first Halo game.

Indeed, Halo 3 had the perfect conclusion to the saga we once knew and loved. Covenant: defeated, Flood: destroyed, War: Over, we won and even made new friends (the elites). The legendary ending for Halo 3 was (IMO) an open ending. 343 was created by Microsoft with the sole purpose of keep making Halo games, Microsoft refused to let go their best exclusive... it's sad because Microsoft's incompetence and money hunger killed one of the best videogame sagas of all time. Halo has no meaning now, it's just a brand. RIP 2001-2010 (yeah, I think Reach was pretty good)

Bungie stops making Halo games, Halo goes downhill, Bungie makes new game , but let's Activision in, fucks up the game in TTK because it's should be called The Re-Skin Dlc, so basically Bungie Caused the destroying of two Once Great games. mashed But si wierd, some Rares can be stronger then exotics and legendaries, like wtf not to mention before you could actually do stuff without the newest DLC, I had to buy that piece of shit just to play crucible, Activision just wants you to grind on like 80+ new quests that get boring at the 10th and not to mention the fact the Raids are now rendered useless when you reach a high LvL, who didn't like having a challenge while playing VoG, or Crota everything from year one that you grinded your ass off is now completely useless

Alex Jones In what ways did it make it better it made Rares better then some exotics and legendaries now you need to grind your ass endlessly to get a legendary or exotuc just so you find a better rare, yeah there is infusion but there isn't a 100% chance it will be at the same damage lvl and 90% of the "new" add-ons are reskins, it changed everything for the worse
