So needed to hear this. From today on I will starve those things ( insecurities, doubts, etc) that are not of God. For I am HIS daughter and I serve a Mighty God. HE will strengthen me, give me grace, wisdom and discernment. In Jesus name I pray! Amen

I asked my Christian friend, "Would you trust someone who openly hates you and constantly insults Jesus, someone who believes your God is different from theirs and that you worship idols?" He immediately replied, "Of course not!" I followed up by asking, "Then how can you trust the Old Testament? After all, it was written by Jewish people who, at that time and now, hold different beliefs than Christians do today." He paused thoughtfully, then responded, "God used Jews to save us." Incredulously, I questioned, "Are you saying that God deceived the Jews, allowing them to worship a different deity through the same book, all for the sake of saving Christians?" My friend suggested we continue the conversation later. That "later" never came, even to this day.
