Warlock has the ability to summon Threadlings, Bleak Watchers, and Hellion Birds, plus Arc Soul with Getaway Artist, and their Transcendent Grenade acts like Void Buddy. Hunter can Slow/Freeze, Weaken/Suppress, Sever, Blind with Mothkeepers/Bombardiers, plus tons of ways to Scorch/Ignite. And while I don't play Titan, I'm pretty sure they can give basically everything ever as well. So yeah, it kinda is everything, even if limited. Plus there's still the Exotic Classes, which could give even more.

If the price to pay for canonically OP guardians is the complete removal of the crucible, then so be it, but lemme run with 5 exotics and all fragments equipped at all times.

This is probably why the new subclass has such a limited lineup. Bungie using aspects/abilities that aren’t as used or powerful, testing the waters then most likely adding more as time goes on

And if D2 actually ends with Episode 3 that makes perfect sense too. The game is over at that point, why not give prismatic access to all abilities at that point. This truly is our final shape

Throwing knife will not be apart of the subclass at launch. Just knife trick. I assume they’ll give us more abilities as we test the waters for them but for now it’ll be slightly limited.

@@shquankinket8068I think it’s for the best so the game isn’t a complete balancing mess at launch n they don’t just throw all chips into 1 basket it’ll be better to steadily roll out more abilities n aspects down the line for prismatic.

Yeah, seeing what Bungie has been doing lately with into the light and Final Shape has been giving me that feeling from when I played the beta and sat in anticipation for D1 launch

Idk if it’s the same for frost but at least for me, it was less so them saying it’s not the end to destiny 2, but rather them saying and def not the end to destiny. Also, they said they will show us what is coming with destiny 2, and beyond. Hints towards destiny 3

The leaker that initially leaked a subclass named prism also apparently confirmed a d3 in the works.

Apparently some random account on reddit leaked prismatic in February and that bungie is working on D3

It really won't be that bad. They've specifically chosen aspects/abilities that aren't that broken in PvP. Still powerful and there are interesting unique combinations, but you don't have access to the really broken abilities and supers, which are still unique to their original subclasses. Prismatic subclasses are more or less one trick ponies in PvP, in terms of broken builds like arcane needle + lighting surge. There are other builds that are consistency builds, but they don't do them as good as the original subclasses and they don't reach the same heights. Prismatic is much stronger in PvE, where their abilities are stronger and the unique combinations matter more.

That's the grenade hunters get when they activate transcendence it's not a full blown new grenade. Starts as a stasis slowing spike then swaps to an igniting solar spike

You know, I was thinking that too...don't get me wrong, having light and dark in the same kit is fantastic, but I was like...so we're transcending and all we're getting from this "NEW LEVEL OF POWER" is a grenade? I don't think that after that absolutely JAW DROPPING concept art of that Titan holding a Solar Hammer and a Stasis Blade, Bungie weren't like "We need dual supers so bad with this". Either way, I'm not expecting it per se, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get something like that.

Brother this game is built on spaghetti code as it is. Do you not realize the sheer size of the undertaking of taking things like this, things that are hard coded to be separate and forcing them together and not having the already unstable game implode on it self. You’re entitled to your opinion, but my opinion is it’s very short sighted. Call it recycled if you wish but it’s far from lazy.

This literally changes the game and opens the way for new builds and playstyles. This might very well be the future standard if it works out. Now, when a new element or super is added, you have infinite possibilities to combine with it.
