I won't lie this song still kicks anything made today. I used to hear this song quite a bit and I never really paid it much attention but it doesn't mean that the beats don't get stored away. Come back and I'm really appreciating it. The really odd arrangement is what is really grabbing me. I'm literally dancing at my desk at work. I think I'm gonna add this to my phone for my workouts.

I miss the Y2K aesthetic so damn much! Nothin' but futuristic R&B beats stapled with insane choreography, fly ass scenery & super sexy outfits. Mannnnnn this era was incredible, not to mention this song and its album ("Writing's on the Wall") got high praises from Chris Cornell of Soundgarden & Adam Levine of Maroon 5 for the production being ahead of its time, particularly this song for it being an irresistible club banger. The case of Jumpin jumpin ( and songs with only B's vocals) it'sthat she was co producing and recording demos to save studio time and because of the conflicts going on , the other girls did lack interest on record her backgrounds vocals . Kelly got some leads on some of the songs , she was ok with her role in the group.

The camera is mostly either on Kelly or Beyonce the whole time. The had Michelle wear the exact background colors you couldn't even see her bc she blended in so well. Farrah wore white so she stood out so that was the beginning of the end for her.
