Sister Zai Chandler , your beautiful long hair is your ORNAMENT, not your head covering , according to 1st Cor.11:15 from André Chouraqui Bible version which gives us the accurate translation of Apostle Paul's corresponding greek text . Indeed , if a christian woman's head covering was her long hair instead of a large scarf tied or not 1st Cor.11:6 wouldn't make sense anymore since the first part of such a verse would become this : " if a woman doesn't have hair on her head , she should have her hair cut off . . ." Therefore , sister Zai Chandler , as you are in God's presence, according to God's holy word found in 1st Cor.11 : 5 , 7 , 10 , you need to cover your head with a large scarf tied or not in order to give God more glory by respecting and by clearly proclaiming "God's ordained Hierarchy" found in 1st Cor.11 : 3 , that's to say : God the Father - Jesus Christ the Son - Man - Woman .
