DESTROSE at Naka Kon 2014

I listened to a bit of their music beforehand and honestly, I wasn't really impressed. I attended the concert just to see how it was and I have no regrets whatsoever! Hearing music in the flesh with all its volume and bass makes all the difference. I got their all of their autographs except for Mina's who unfortunately caught ill and could not attend neither the signing or panel. :c Hope she gets well again!
I apologize for the shakiness. I was right in front of a speaker and its blaring was messing with my balance. Sorry for the end as well, security told me no recording, much less uploading.
I'm a rebel.

I love her voice, so beautiful and strong! Very unique. I even thought it was digitally enhanced in the studio recordings and in official videos. Glad to see an unedited video. Now I see she can really sing that way live!

thanks for the video. i too got told to put my camera away after only a minute of video. they were really strict.

No problem! This is actually only one of the two recordings I have of them from that night. Though this video is the slightly longer one and the area I was shooting from was just a tad bit better in terms of seeing them. Apparently security didn't know recording wasn't allowed either, the man who told me to put it away said "I just now learned this" and from then on I was a bit skeptical about Naka's reliability on security.

Definitely makes me regret not going to see them live despite my vacation days being used up in the process. Well, I suppose there is next year and by then they might have a new album out which would be sweet. Still, I love the first album alongside Rin/Maze since they are really talented.

Well they didn't but, on the bright side, so many other good bands emerged from the ruins not least of which was Lovebites, formed by the bassist Miho and the drummer Haruna.

At this time, Captain Mina was ill and could not play live. What is the name of the lady which Mina has replaced for this live appearance? Is it the female guitar player Marty or Kimi ? 🌹☠Destrose🤘🏻

@@bonered9210 The movements are different than Saki's. I don't think it's Saki. And remember: Saki was already on the road to success in 2014 with Mary's Blood. I don't think that in 2014 Saki has the time or desire to be the substitute for Destrose. Saki played for Destrose in 2009 and 2010. But not with Miho, Haruna, Narumi and Marina.🤘🐺🤘

@@gitterich I heard that saki supported destrose because another guitarist was ill at this time. It may be a mistake in my memory. the comment at bottom is japanese, when translated into english "Huh? Is this help guitarist chucky?" saki is big fan of horror movie, especially she loved doll chucky which is the main character of child play. she was given nickname chucky, chucky, chucky = saki when she was high school student. therefore, people familiar with music call her chuky instead of saki. i feel that head bang from 0 minutes 44 seconds overlaps with usual movement of saki. 🤘🐺🤘

This particular performance was at Naka-Kon (anime convention) in Overland Park, Kansas. This year was my first time attending, but I was told they performed at the same convention last year as well.

No ^^ only been to two this year (this is my first year), I plan on going to another in August. You get hooked easily when you go!
