Same here. I would have enjoyed the third one Path of the Furon if it hadn't been so damn buggy and unfinished in parts. Game froze a lot too from what I remember. It's sad because the flying saucer stuff was great.

Just a bit depressing that these are the most exciting games. Imagine, the gaming industry can't come up with games that are more interesting than the games they used to make 1-2 decades ago. As someone who only plays single player, story oriented PC titles, I feel like an entire industry died out around me in the last few years. There are maybe one or two games a year that can truly scratch my itch. Imagine trying to justify the purchase of a $1000 dollar PC just for Metro Exodus... ...still the best game I ever played.

The original was casual fun. The fighting mechanics were not deep or complex as every character played the same but the characters were great & fun factor was excellent with siblings or friends. I hope though that if we get a full remake they actually make unique movelist for every character. Thus staying true to the original while improving upon it with a strong new fighting system.

One of the issues (probably the main) with that game is the licensed music. It's a core part of the experience. It will be very costly to get it again for what it's essentially not very well known game. Also, some levels need reworking balancing.

Rebel Without a Cause. The Room's line in that film paid homage to it. Though it seems a lot of people are more affiliated with The Room then Rebel Without a Cause.

As the commenter above said, it is a reference to Rebel, which The Room tried to pay homage too. Tommy Wiseau was a huge fan of classic cinema and tried to emulate what he saw in the films that he loved. Unlike Tarantino however, his efforts are... questionable. All that said, 'The Room' is much more of a widely known and celebrated modern cultural phenomenon than 'Rebel', so I feel that it was a missed opportunity to reference 'The Room' rather than 'Rebel' (again) in the remake. But maybe that is just me.

If someone in the studio actually watched the room before 2006 And referenced it they would have ultimate memer credit, but as the other fellas said is probably rebel

@@meatpie7166 hopefully if they do remake the 2nd and 3rd game for destroy all humans which will lead to a brand new Destroy all humans game from the ground up with way more weapons new and old from all games for the saucer and guns . I feel the making of the remakes will distract us while they go behind the scenes with another dev team (maybe the ones that made this remake ) to make the new game so when these beautiful remakes come out, then the new one comes out with a trailer so it would feel like it's only been a year since the first game came out . Since I'm guessing it doesn't take as long to do remakes then new games . So I think this plan could work .

@@meatpie7166 remakes will make games better . I've been hoping for a crash bash remake for a long time especially when Beenox made Crash team racing remake . That was amazing . That remake is like 10 times bigger than the original game. They added new and old maps and racers and the story looked bigger with the extra animations and with huge kart and skin customization options . I'm hoping they give crash bash the same treatment too. People are saying that game didn't receive well ( it is true ) but people don't understand the biggest thing right now is the multiplayer market . Which they could give crash bash online multiplayer and other unlockables like more charecters and new minigame designs . Online multiplayer would be so fun for that remake I would be playing space bash all day lol.

@Seth Hultkrantz Sometimes I wonder why nobody had balls big enough yet to make a proper serial killer simulator. It's not even all that hard, really - just make up a rogue-like-generated city, a dozen of animated menus (while at home, while at work, while on the sub, while at the workshop, in the gym, in a pub/strip joint, planning of said serial killing etc.), a couple of meters your character should manage like sanity, craving of the beast within and a social mask, public's stress level. Then all that is left is to do is think up a clever way of minimalistically portraying mark's house, a night public park or a general road home, basically a location, and then all that is left is preparation and execution. You don't even really need to portray the murder, player's imagination can do all the needed work, all you need is to imply it heavily. With the game getting harder and harder as the killings go on, public strenghtening security, random crimes being commited by a copycat, forcing you to smartly contact the police to declare them to be frauds. You making up a monicker, a symbol. You getting a family to fortify your good guy image. You deciding to end it all either through a suicide or some kind of a bigger crime like getting on top of a high landmark and just starting to snipe innocent bystanders, with the final score declaring your final serial killer rank. A bunch of other cute and fun gameplay mechanics here and there that pay homage to history's worst criminals. I wonder why nobody made that yet. I've seen much more complex games made. This game could be the ultimate relaxation for me personally. For clarity's sake: I am not evil, relax, people. I just really, really love imagining myself doing horrible things from time to time, because god knows - people just keep on giving you a reason to be angry at them without fail. Have a good night.
