I am happy too see no build is including my favorite Anti-Materiel Rifle. The less people know how great it is against bots the less chance to be nerfed. Awesome.

biggest problem with the personal energy shield is that the hitbox is too big. 75% of the shots feel like they would've missed anyways.

Plas Punisher because it can kill everything short of Fac Striders. Excellent at little bots abd Striders, decent on Devs and Berzerkers, can even kill Hulks and Tanks from the front if you can drop shots onto the heat sink. Senator. You can't use the Plas up close, so you need a backup for when Knifebots or Berzerks get in your face. Impact Grenades. Lets you kill Fabs when your Strats are on cooldown. One to the heat sink kills a Hulk or Tank. Light Engineering Armor. For 40min missions. You want speed to cross the maps quick, but Medium Engineering also works if you want a compromise between speed and protection. Heavy armor is just too slow for long missions, though. I really like 6 grenades when I don't have a Grenade Pistol, but you can go Medical Armor (Light or Medium) if you prefer. Heavy Fortified Armor. For 15 min missions. Speed doesn't matter for small maps, and reduced explosion damage is great for Rocket Devs and Big Gun Tanks. Heavy Medical works too, better against Flame Hulks. Eagle Air Strike. Clears Light Outposts and great to throw at a Bot Drop. Orbital Laser. Kills anything, even a Fac Strider, clears most Bot Bases. Never leave your Destroyer without it, vs Bots or Bugs. 380mm Strike. Heavy Bot Base clear. Just toss it in and run away. EAT. Better than the Q-cannon. It fires faster on the draw, and if you time it right, you can have three shots. One you carry in from the last fight, two more you call in right before you start a fight. That will be three downed Dropships in the time a Q-Cannon can only shoot one. Start your Dive on the Extraction location and call your EATs. Take one with you, and the other one will still be there at Extraction when you need it again at mission end. Also, there are rarely enemies on the Extraction site at the start of a mission, so it's just the safest place to start regardless on diff 7+ missions.

It's insane to me to talk about "best build" against the bots and not go for AC or AMR, those are literally the 2 best weapons in the game against them.

AMR, Mortar Sentry, Eagle Airstrike, Supply Pack. Alternatively, if you’re more concerned about larger targets, you can swap the mortar for a 500kg or railcannon strike. The supply pack is a godsend against bots, as reapplying at the wrong time or place normally can cost you dearly. Gun wise, I use the plasma punisher, and want the grenade pistol to finish the build but don’t have the warbond unlocked yet. The grenade pistol would mainly be used on fabricators to conserve airstrikes.

Ballistic shield, AC turret, Laser Cannon, Precision Strike. Then Pummeler, grenade pistol, and Stun grenades. Explosion dmg reduction armor. Grenade pistol takes out factories, Stun grenades disables hulks for easy 2 second kill with LC. LC also takes out gunships and everything the bots can throw at you. Precision Strike takes out tanks and has some of the best CD around. It heavily damage striders and if well placed will take out the top cannon too... LC the turrets and belly to kill it. Now the AC turret I'm sure you're scratching you head and I don't blame you. This turret can kill tanks, Hulks and striders! Put this baby down BEFORE engagement and at a safe distance. When/if enemies even start to get close then get out there and draw enemy fire, you have the ballistic shield so use it! You support the turret and it supports you. If you don't want to use the AC turret, try the mortar hiding behind cover. No turrets at all vs bots? I get it, rocker devastators can go suck some binary, then just use your strat of choice, as long as you're having fun then that all that matters.

I love recently with the bots taking plasma punisher as primary, stun grenades. AMR, shield pack, airstrike ans flex slot... fun

One of the builds I usually run is the heavy machine gun, ammo pack, shield generator, and orbital rail cannon. I run the scorcher with it since the ammo pack can replenish its hungry ammo usage. Just a fun build for when I want to be the underdog.

i like to run orbital laser, orbital railcannon, and the eagle strike because it covers all situations except maybe avoid to use on strider and just run using your stealth armor. Run SMG that has stagger to stun big enemy that has shield, run incendiary it's just too good not to use and either grenade pistol to handle bigger target or objectives. The fourth slot can be option for support items or extra stratagem if available.

2 builds I'm running currently for bots: 1st (Saboteur): 380 MM and 120 MM barrages, Spear, and Walking/Orbital Laser. Plasma Punisher, grenade pistol, smoke grenade, light stealth armor (could do the Medium stealth armor too). The idea is you're just there to wipe any fixed emplacement on the map and fade away. Fabricator Striders are also a good target since they're so large but I wouldn't waste spear shots or orbital laser on it as they are too ineffective against the thing. 2nd (Fortress): Shield Gen Relay, HMG Emplacement, Other two can be a mix of turrets or support weapons/backpacks. Plasma Punisher, grenade pistol, smoke grenade [can be swapped out, I just like it to make hellbombs untargetable], Heavy anti-explosive armor. You're there to be next to impossible to kill. Place down your defensive strategems in whatever order suits your situation (need cover now? Shield Gen. Got a bit of time to set up for an approaching patrol? HMG Emplacement) If you know where to shoot something, that HMG can take down anything that isn't a building, even factory striders. Just be aware that if the HMG Emplacement is killed while you're on it, you instantly die. So prioritize rocket-wielding units as they kill the turret in a single shot.

I typically run Servo Assisted armor so that I don't have to get as close to bases. Eagle Air Strike, Orbital Laser, and either Orbital Rail or 500k, plus Quasar or Laser Cannon, stun grenades, Scorcher. That's my standard Bot build. It's a good all-arounder that can keep you far enough away from trouble and bail you out if trouble finds you.

Primary : Jar dominator Secondary : nade pistol Armour : heavy , either further throwing distance or stimpacks Stratagems : shield turret Amr 500kg Orbital laser Build 2. Same as build 1 Either dominator or scorcher or sniper Secondary nade pistol Same armour Stratagems Shield turret Spear Ems motar Normal motar or any of the barrage strikes even cluster either This build is goat because you have the shield to protect everyone why you pop out of their for a second than lock onto the fabricators or other targets. Its more support than aggressive Also use the plummaler smg blaslstic shield , dagger pistol , shield turret , heavy machine gun or laser cannon and ems or some eagle strike

These are nice setups. Curious how you would feel at what I have been running. Plas punisher, medium fortified armor (usually the normal one not the one that reduces stamina) grenade pistol, stun nades. For strats: HMG, Eagle Air Strike, Supply back pack, and the last one is either Orbital Laser, precision strike, or rail cannon depending on modifiers and group comp. I put the HMG on the highest fire rate and only fire from crouched position. Maybe I can get your take on it in one of your streams?

I know these are good loadouts. I just feel naked without my Spear. Not the best for survivability, but just deleting fabricators, turret towers, heavies, tanks, you name it from a distance...hot dang. I'm too lazy to try to line up shots on heat sinks lol

Interesting video💪 I know you love killing bugs and burning them alive, so I was looking forward to see the bot builds coming from a bug enjoyer like yourself as u offer a different perspective from creekers. It's great to see u found success with these builds. The Laser Cannon build is a fine choice, but I have some concerns on whether the 1st and 2nd build are the "Best" Builds for most players out there. I think the main criteria for best builds are Effectiveness and Ease of Use. The 1st and 2nd build are pretty decent, but my concern is that units that the Quasar/AT weapons are good at can also be defeated quickly using the AC/AMR. Using the Quasar against numerous Hulks, Gunships, Tanks, or even just one factory strider is relatively rough. It would take more surviving skills (which u have) to use AT weapons and kite around without dying as u need to constantly avoid getting boxed in by multiple patrols of devastators + hulks while waiting for the cooldown. Taking on them with just the primary weapon is quite rough as u run out of ammo quickly and u don't kill them as fast, it takes more skills and forethought to work around these problems. Meanwhile, AC/AMR are excellent at killing devastators, which are very numerous and threatening, and these weapons take on heavily armoured units well, unlike the railgun which is mostly limited to defeating scout striders, devastators and hulks only. Personally, I'd love to see someone armed with Quasar or RR when there are 1 - 2 players already armed with the AC/AMR. I also think Orbital 380 deserves a spot as well if 4 strategem slots are available because it has a great chance to solo heavy outposts, or mostly clear it. It is way more reliable than hitting bug holes cuz bot fabs are bigger. It is especially good at eradicate missions where u just spam orbital barrages and laser to drop everything dead. It really is a throw-and-forget tool that does a lot of the heavy lifting.

With the release of the "polar patriots" warbond, the new SMG "Pummeler" and the "P113"sidearm are the best guns there. Use the BALLISTIC shield with heavy armor. Dont forget to crouch when you can for better coverage. Then I use AMR anti material rifle so you can put the shield on your back if you are running away itll protect you. Otherwise when you have a 1 handed weapon the SMG and sidearm of your choice it automatically keeps your ballistic shield in your left hand. Also you gotta be kinda careful cause the ballistic shield is still kinda wonky where when you dive or climb certain stuff it drops your shield. So I would said AMR or railgun are your best options but its totally up to you. I think it would be cool of there was a stradegem that let you choose either 2 primary weapons or 2 secondary weapons. I think that would be sick. So here's the build in total. I like to use heavy armor that gives you explosive defense and accuracy when prone. SMG of your choice, I like the pummeler for its stunlock and overall effectiveness. Pistol sidearm of your choice. I would say any of the pistols are a good options except the uzi. The uzi is much better for bugs in my opinion. Grenade pistol is good for fabricators n shit. The p113 verdict is like a desert eagle, its kinda like the default pistol mixed with the revolver. Default pistol is heavily slept on. The revolver is good is you mag dump so the reload is faster. Then I use either stun grenades if you have the grenade pistol. Or I use g12 high explosives or impact 1.Ballistic shield 2.AMR, railgun, quasar or laser cannon. Something 2 handed so you can put shield on your back 3 and 4. OPTIONAL, your preference on stradegems but I like to run orbital railcannon for tanks and shit and I also like to run the gas bomb. Gas bomb is much better for bugs but it can be almost as effective as the orbital laser but you throw that bitch down and the kills will rack up. You just gotta tell your teammates so they don't die n shit haha.

Ive been going orbital precision for fabricator, heavys or clumped of mediums, laser for obj or big bases, eagle airstrike for its versatility, and a personnal shield or AMR. Stun grenades to land those eagle and orbital, plasma punisher cause its juste too good, can deal with anything without much effort. Finalise with grenade pistol when you run out in primary to finish the job and to destroy stratagem jammer (just need to destroy the fabricator and usually the whole thing goes boom). Love your videos btw, always informative and a good approach to new ideas and etc. Keep it up!

Yeah I still struggle with not wanting to use my stratagems to “save them”. But sometimes i think it’s just me forgetting in the heat of battle.

AC-8 / Advancing 380 barrage / Eagle Air strike / Orbital rail gun. Scorcher - grenade laucher pistol - stun grenade you can single handle EVERY situation with this one. makes Hell rain on the bots.

This is my generic build when I play with a team: Laser cannon, Redeemer, Shield backpack, Stun grenades, Eagle airstrike, Orbital laser, Liberator

I use a Dom/Plasma Punisher, Grenade Pistol, Stun grenade, heavy armor, Spear, Mortar sentry, 500kg and Airburst strike/orbital laser

why whenever i play against automatons i can only pick three stratagems it pisses me off

Love me Laser Cannon, but for a "precision" weapon, it offers no good way to be precise; the ADS is teribad. Half the screen is blocked by the weapon itself, the viewport is tiny and offers very little zoom. And the laser beam itself is so wide, and bright that you don't exactly see what your hitting. Also, it fires slightly to the right of the targeting reticule (even after the supposed "fix"). Still run it on Bot missions, though.

Primary: Pummeler Secondary: Senator Grenade: Impact Grenade Support: Grenade Launcher Strategems: Gatling Sentry, EMS Mortar Sentry, and Autocannon Sentry Booster: Hellpod Space Optimization or Localization Confusion I only use Orbitals when needed for Orders.

I don't know, laser is way too weak. I guess I'm use to my build. Ill give it one more try.

I do not doubt you are good player watching your gameplay videos, but I am sorry not including the Autocannon vs bots is almost criminal. It staggers everything except tanks, and kills everything. In my opinion the Quesar Canon is overrate vs Bots, it is more of a bug weapon. Try the AC, Airstrike, Laser and Orbital Precision Strike combo with heavy armor, the Sickle (mostly for the small bots, AC vs everything else), sidearm is an open choice and Stun grenades.

Laser cannon & AMR are better tbh The new heavy armor w/ engineering kit is good too
