I can’t argue with the tires, put on 275’s. I actually like the ride height. I lowered my ‘13 and it scraped everywhere! Personal preference that’s all. Nice ride man, cheers. Catch can for sure!

My 2019 Charger R/T has the active exhaust, to be honest it sounds great and it’s quiet when cruising but when getting on it opens up and sounds very aggressive. Not sure what year yours it but 2017 and up have that.

Well to start off with, I have a 2017 challenger that is louder than that, I have done nothing to it, I have a 6 spd manual. And it has active exhaust. You were right about that gas cap. Mine was chrome as well, but I paid 43.00 bucks for mine on amazon. I am a lot older than yourself. I will be going with a decal on the hood, like they did in the old days. I remember the commercials back in 1970 when this car came out. And I thought from that day to this, I would get one. Well the day finally came. Thanks a lot for your videos

I respect these are the right things for you, I may choose a different path if I go through with purchase. I dont need a loud exhaust (loud =/= fast), but I want it to be as deep/low note as possible, so I agree to personalize your exhaust. Staggered exhaust is nice. A must, if you are going to drive in any amount of snow (v6 has over 300 hp as well), a good set of winter tires so you dont wreck the sweet ride. If I were to do a wheel and tire change, my personal taste is that old school race car look with meaty sidewalls, so I'd find super light weight wheels in the smaller size that fit the brakes, matching diameter, and as wide as possible without fender mods. I think the ride height is fine for a daily driver, slammed cars arent practical outside a town with perfect streets and driveways. Dont want a trip to a store or restaurant to break your bumper. Do the newer models still benefit from a catch can? I thought newer engine designs have both direct and port injection keeping that gunk from building up Thanks for the video. Wish people would learn how to disagree without hate, and not hate on choices, we love cars. V6, v8, auto, stick, who the fuck cares. Your personalization looks good.

i traded in my 2010 charger sxt.... for a 2014 challenger rt shaker. i love it. its my fav car now. if you are on the fence, get one. (not the v6 though eek)

Found a ton of 2019 RT challengers for 26k at the auction. F yes! They have about 5000 to 7000 miles on them but i guess that's fine. Your car is on point! Love it.

I have to agree with you on all your list! Suspension is a must makes the car look way better. I ended up getting the eibach for suspension. I learned tires the hard way at the drag strip. Spinnin ain't winnin!

Yeah, it's quiet, but I've driven by officers at give me a ticket speeds and not received one. 2: Good tires are always a necessity. 3: Agree, plain calipers are boring. 4: I trust the engineers at Dodge, but yeah, if you want to change the ride height, bags are the stuff. 5: My chrome cap matches my wheels, but I can see that. 6: Never heard of it, but why not?

Lol I want to do the same with my hood by changing it to mat black as well as my brake calipers, matching the yellow in my Super Bee emblem. Tires... yes I agree. Sticky-er tires are a must! The gap in the rear fender well goes back to the day when we had air shocks to lift the rear of our cars so we could fit a larger rear tire in the back.

I have an sxt 2020, I love it 22 mpg in town but still commands respect. I did resonator delete on mine and from elbow back went to 21/2 inch pipe laf! Got black cap also. Mines charcoal I wish I could tint windows on side like that but illegal here. Mine honestly doesn't have much gap it's low. Looks tuff. Thanks for sharing info I hit all the buttons...

The V6 is a Daily driver lmao. Got mine a week ago and only being 19 i cant complain. Has enough power to pass majority of the other dailies on the road. The only negative is its a larger gas tank compared to the civic i previously had so $30 for gas turned into $50

I am glad I bought the v6 your engine has multiple problems. I can get just as many speeding tickets as you can but I will do it on less gas 😆 Ford lady showing love for my GT Charger. I think you forgot the cold air intake. I have different taste in tires too. Nice little car I prefer ease of access. I feel childish crawling threw a small space to get to the back seat. 4 doors for 4 seats classy. Big engines are best on a straight shot. I prefer a all around performance myself. Thank you for letting us know your experience with your car.

“Quiet” is not how I’d describe the stock exhaust on a Challenger. The rumble from inside with the windows up is satisfying, but when I’m in a built-up area I have to watch how much I use my right foot to avoid being a cop magnet.

I like that color but they only have SXTs that color where i live at. I plan on getting a 2018 RT plus.

I took a $5 can of black plastic dip spray paint and popped that chrome zit gas cap and it looks just as good as the black one saved $95 bucks 👍

I just found your channel and I love it. I love how you call the bullshit out and I love how you speak the truth. I own a 5.7 RT and it sounds like a kitty cat. I would love to modify the mufflers so it at least sounds like the hot rod that it is. My question to you is that a real hellcat or is it a car that you’re modifying into a hellcat. I got 255s front, 275s rear, resonator delete, tinted windows on my 2009 SRT8. Oh and the black fuel filler cap. Head turner. Destroyer gray looks nice too!

Tires is definitely the #1 thing to do with a Challenger. I have 275/40R20 Nitto NT555 G2’s up front, and 305/35R20 Mickey Thompson Street Comp tires on my 2020 classic body Scat Pack Challenger. The difference that made alone was night and day: These cars are a completely different animal with the right tires on them

Oh it's one of the baby challengers. The SRT line exhaust is a dual active system, and it already sounds great. You also dont need to paint the calipers on the big boys, they come in red standard, or you can pick a few others.

Nice car brother, im actually a bmw guy. But after looking into the challengers i am definitely moving to the mopar world.
