Finn, I know I’m probably in a minority of your fans, but I actually love when you go deep on the business, marketing, and art design of a band and explain how it helped or hurt their popularity. Maybe there are up and coming or underground bands open to your feedback or even artists outside the rock scene who you would point to as being on the fore front of where you see rock/music going.
@drewtokarsky3917

Charismatic voice works because she's knowledgable and likable. It takes it to the next level because of how unexpected it is for a classically trained vocalist to validate a style of music most wouldn't expect her to give the time of day. Couple that with her being objectively attractive and her channel works on lots of levels.

I agree with your take on Charismatic Voice. I don't really care about most reaction content but her very technical reviews of Slaughter to Prevail, Lorna Shore, and Type O Negative were incredibly entertaining and she is an amazing vocalist as well.

I love how Pat Finnerty (my brain has finally hit the frying pan) insists on playing a Squire Strat signed by Train. I enjoy watching 12 Tone too, who is certainly in the same ball park as Adam Neely, but I find his explanations of music theory more comprehensible (and a lot of it still goes over my head), but at least he discusses 'popular' music, or at least music that isn't just jazz.

I think the thing you said about not knowing as much as Adam about theory, and tying into your music production company, is a good thing. A lot of artists who make their own music have a basic to intermediate level of understanding it, like Charlie Puth, and he just does what sounds good. I'm all for flashy and high level composition, but sometimes the feeling is more important than the structure.

A good way to come across better is called a “bad news sandwich”. I work as a therapist, and this is taught in grad schools and used constantly in the field. Start with a positive: “I think drums are incredibly creative.” Then the problem: “however, I believe guitars should push the boundaries past architect riffs” Another compliment: “but again, drums are incredible.” Give it a shot! But there also people who just want their opinion to be the only opinion. So, gotta balance that out 😂
