Something about naval assault in ravenfield feels quite satisfying

I think my favorite is between Citadel and Dustbowl. Dustbowl is a classic and has been around for so long and i've got a bunch of good memories of it but citadel is really well designed and alot of fun to attack or defend.

in terms of vanilla maps I kinda like the Mountain Range map. ...idk if thats the right name of it, its been a while since I played. Its up in the mountains, its a bit sandy and there's winding narrow paths to each team's main base - both of which have an airfield. And theres a lil ruined fort right in the middle. Second favourite's Canyon. and then Archipelago. Idk. I like the concept of it but every battle turns out the same way. Spawn on the carrier, you win. Spawn off the carrier, keep throwing yourself at the carrier until you win or lose

Loved the video @Baron! Can't wait for the next video man! Tides and War and Archipelago Revisited are my Favorite Maps to look at in Ravenfield. No I don't play Ravenfield, Sadly, but I do like looking at the Maps on the Steam Workshop and watching Sofa and Baron's Videos though.

9:38 Modern naval warfare would look like ww2 naval warfare, except every aircraft flying towards a ship is a mach 1-5 high-potentcy explosive delivery system capable of taking down an aircraft carrier in one hit and you'd only see 4 to 6 of them every 30 minutes about 2-60 kilometers away from the main carrier group because close in weapon systems and counter rocket artillery systems are highly effective these days... and the team who has the F-35s will easily maim the opposing carrier group

You should have a battle where its purely in the sky have a big flying platform and a couple smaller ones and fight with planes and big airships maybe even some heavy weaponry and you both must take down the others main platform to win and the smaller platforms and they would have a type of plane bombers or airships they would spawn and if you sink those smaller platforms you lose the respawn point for the vessels that would spawn on them

I love the content it got me in to playing ravenfield and the vanilla+ mods are on my favorites page. But with the updates to ravenfield it broke the Star Wars mods and some of the maps as well. if there was interest in redoing or rebuilding it like the vanilla+ with how good that mod is and be able to have a whole new experience and add some of the movies and the legends comics with the old republic era to the first order with weapons and the space battles.

Baron you inspired me to read about history and live my life proud as a normal history loving human.

answer to your question: my favorite map would be dustbowl, i usually love desert maps (unless they're always in the middle east, im tired of stereotypes) but my favorite modded map is archipelago revisited by your favorite modder, Sofa.

Nice F/A26 in the thumbnail, jsut got done playing the game it came from.

You sunk the carrier with your destroyer, its so cool! Next time could you board the enemy carrier and drive a jeep around on that? you'd probably get killed but it would be so cool and funny

You can also get realistic ravenfield with ehads. you can use mutators that can change plane physics, tanks, and even infantry

you should have sofa make some starship troopers mods for skins, weapons, vehicles, and of course BUGS!

It hasn't come out yet, but there's a game being developed called Sea Power which is a naval warfare game set in the late Cold War. Would be very similar to a modern naval combat game
