I don't know how large your backlog is for coach reacts, but it would be interesting if you paired these series. For example if you had a coach react Benoni game then the viewer would have a direct comparison between your thoughts and the club player in a similar position. I know that would be very interesting to me at least.

Hey, thank you for this! Modern Benoni is my favorite opening! It all started with Gurgenidze-Tal, 1957 (probably the only game that I remember with year it was played). The opening looks like you want to play it queenside, but that g7 bishop easily jumps to d4 and suddenly starts staring straight at the king. This simple move is often overlooked by my opponents. I had plenty of enjoyable games, full of boomshki and carnage

I don't play the Benoni for black, I like KID and for white I play a mix d4 including the catalan, main lines of Benoni and KID. Still very usuful video to learn from, right away I saw that the move order in the example game this is how I normally get into a catalan but I realized that this can lead to the Benoni as well. And I never play the benoni with g3, very interesting and insightful. Thanks as always!

I commonly face Bf4 instead of Nd2 and I struggle against it a lot

Rg4 is beautiful! I've loved The Modern Benoni since I saw the game from Spassky - Fischer 1972. If black gets counterplay as in these games or can exchange a couple of pieces and get it going on the queenside this is an opening that is a nice weapon even aginst good players. Just don't get overrun by f4, e5 (and sometimes then f5). 🙂 I'm nowadays avoiding it against 3. Nc3.

Hey man, I normally love your train of thought but not for openings. I can memorize games, but unless i play the same openings everytime i can't remember the model games. And it gets boring playing the same opening. I like to memorize the lines and play them in important games but i usually play random position and try to out calculate my opponents. This approach really helps me in Sicilian when the positions become wild and everyone is blundering every move. No amount of model games can help there.
