Thats literally how i started too 😭, well kind of i went from shao to geras to rain to shang. But coming into mk1 i wanted to main raiden shang and shao cause they were the mains on mk11

Ive been using a combo reset with scorpion/Darius . Start with knee launcher , do the enhanced air kombos , comeback down into spear/ ground flames… finally use Darius with for the mixup or the reset. Or just the neutral kameo button

Shang will forever be #1 but it wouldnt hurt to have a secondary main my dude. Any suggestions?

@@PassMeADonut I’m excited to try Ermac when he is released. My first main was Sindel/Sonya, she’s fun to play and has lots of mixtures + pressure, I don’t like the cheap and boring sandwich Lao hat and Sindel overhead that most Sindel players do, she also has good mixture with Subzero Kameo. Rain seems interesting but I didn’t give him a serious try but playing against him is challenging. Shang interests me more than any other character because he’s challenging to fully master, I believe there are many combo routes yet to be discovered other than the known bnb most Shang players do, and to fully master him with all his capabilities you got to have descent knowledge of the whole roster.

Im probably only going to learn ermac just so i can morph with shang but i dont think i would truly main him Maybe i can main rain? I used to main him in my earlier days but i feel like he is under used And that is why i love shang, so much potential but sometimes i feel like i want to go deep and learn someone else as a second. Whenever takeda comes out he will probably take #1 or #2 as main

@@PassMeADonut I believe most characters have interesting sides to them but we hate some characters cuz of how people play them online I believe Johnny and Liu Kang are interesting but people play the worst side of them online, same thing for Baraka and Raiden, I would like to try many characters and play them in a clean style, not like how we see them online, you know the cheesy Stryker and Kung Lao stuff, ranking in this game ain’t worth a dime if that style of playing is considered as skill, I like to respect my opponent but some people just don’t want respect in their matches, but the best part is when you get to know good and respecting players.
