Grenade - GTA V NPC animations - Cyberpunk eye of player - Cyberpunk eye of NPCs - Cyberpunk Wet clothes test - GTA V Grenade Water splash - Cyberpunk, the ripples look more satisfying to me ladder climbing - GTA V Shadows from car - Cyberpunk taking cover - GTA V Cyberpunk wins here. But if you add much other details, GTA V still wins.

Cyberpunk IS NOT a gta-like game. It has more complex roleplay system, builds, mechanics etc. It's not correct to compare them in some cases.

For example: imo, it is interesting how a GTA 5 character (a normal human) would behave when you through a grenade to the feet vs a Cyberounk character (a cybernetically enhanced person) would behave. I can't say that either of them is better in this case. But you can compare to see the difference.

The biggest influences on this game are the the TTRPG, Deus Ex games, Fallout: New Vegas, and obviously The Witcher games. No one is trying to copy Rockstar open world combat or mission design that hasn't really evolved in almost two decades.

okay but have you played it? bc if u havent played it then you can't say it's worse gameplay wise. the amount of glitches were blown way out of proportion and it wasn't actually ever as glitchy as people said it was.

RED engine has never been very detailed when it comes to game physics. Hopefully, with now CDPR are using UE5, things becoming even more realistic, of course more demanding too LOL

I think GTA V stands for its time. Cyberpunk 2077 shows the development of the last 10 years. Cyberpunk should be further developed by CDPR and get a new engine. Then Cyberpunk 2077 will look even better and that's why I go with Cyberpunk 2077 all the time, the game is absolutely underrated.

@@zaleyarlettNo one is arguing that. GTA V was amazing for its time, same with RDR2, but if you only want to play Rockstar games and never experience any other genre of game... Like idk, how about a futuristic RPG? Then the idea that Rockstar makes superior games doesn't honestly matter. You can play both CP2077 and GTA V, and get this, when GTA 6 comes out, you'll be able to play that as well... There is 0 downside to any of this. Compare CP2077 to every game besides Rockstar games, and you'll see how good it really is.

@aayushdalal3771 It's a tough question. Soon I will upload a new video about the new features of Cyberpunk 2077 2.0! Personally I like it a lot! But if you don't like the futuristic vibes and don't mind a bit dated graphics, GTA V is still a masterpiece and is still a more polished game than Cyberpunk 2077!

with its latest update. you will have more fun with cyberpunk. Played both. GTA V is fun as a kid/teenager. But it is boring as adult. unless you like sandbox games and Online. mission design and combat in gta v is outdated. but still depends on what you looked for. If you like hacking enemies making them commit suicide, kill their allies, control your car or npc car remotely like a RC car. or become quicksilver like in the movies(stopping time/slowing down time) or a cyberninja that deflects bullets with a katana/ throw knives. or a call of duty soldier or a boxer with cyborg arms etc. You will enjoy cyberpunk. plus the story will make you question real life.

It is nosense to do wet animation and wet custiumes, if game is first person game. Or maybe i don't remember and photo mode is in this game. Even if it is not neccessary to have wet clothes. Only if at first person you can watch your clothes. Then wet is ned. This is my opinion share with me your perspective.

Witcher 4 will make Gta 6 be forgotten during its release. Because people will realized they are still playing Gta v with enhanced graphics and physics with new simulations like being able to have your own family,more business, corporations, etc. unless you are few lucky people who can join Roleplay servers with the streamers. They will remember they are tired of modern theme games. and want some medieval fantasy settings like Game of thrones/Witcher.

Graphically, Cyberpunk should be better than GTA V since there are 10 years gap between those games and Cyberpunk had 10 years of development time and GTA V only got like 4-5 years. Plus the RAGE engine was still building at the time that GTA V came out and the potential of the engine even then was damn greater than CDPR's engine. But in other details except graphical details, Cyberpunk's nowhere near at GTA V. I don't know what they did all those 10 years of development time period.

Cyberpunk wins in almost everything. From animations, sounds, music, story, dialog system, countles builds, gunplay. There is no comparison. Maybe R* take notes and beat Cyberpunk with GTA6.

GTA V has had a graphical update every new console generation, which there has been 2 so far. The PS3 vs PS4 vs PS5 vs PC editions all look different. PS3 to PS4 is a completely different game visually, to the point that GTA V on release looks closer to GTA 4 than it does the current day version of it. Also GTA V has had 3-5 years of development, plus a further 10 more years of updates... Yes a lot of the smaller details were there at launch, but in terms of heist, vehicles, buyable houses, missions, races, online, etc. a lot of the current content came later in its development cycle. They also had several GTA games to build on before, while Cyberpunk 2077 was completely built from the ground up as a new IP.

Makes sense GTA still has overal better animations and physics etc, since it's designed as mainly a 3rd person game where Cyberpunk is purely a 1st person game.. Other reason probably is Rockstar simply has better tools and programmers for that stuff than CD Project Red.. NPC interactions is also still better in GTA V while being the much older game..

@matt_full3885 I wrote 2023 because Cyberpunk 2077 got a lot of patches recently that changed not only the graphics but in some cases the physics too! For example it got Path Tracing (which I enabled all the time!), realistic water physics, new animations and more... these were not there in 2020. It's basically a new game now.

Fun is a subjective thing you can't generalise fun, what may seem fun to you might be boring to others & I know Cyberpunk could be more fun than GTA 5 in some aspects. You're comparing Cyberpunk to games that were released in 2008(GTA 4) , 2013(GTA 5) Cyberpunk already has an edge & still looses hard. The fact that we are comparing a game that was released in today's time(Cyberpunk) with latest tech advancements and standards to games that were released more than a decade ago...speaks volumes about the state of trends/practices in modern gaming industry. If you want fun then go play Witcher 3, Just Cause 3, God of War, Marvel's Spiderman, RDR2 they are far more polished, stable, bug free, glitch free and fun games than Cyberpunk.😁

Its more about the direction than the difference in essentially 3 D models..ofcourse newer hardware would mean there is much more resourve to develop a game with but that should be seen in more systems for a player than just better graphics look at RDR 2 in that respect...the entire vine and sature of LOS Santos combined with the fun of character switching and the entire mission gameplay when the three were together essentially doing the one mission theough three different angles...boy what a game was GTA 5...and cyberpunk just implodes in comparison infact thw only gane that can stand up to that level of direction is only RDR 2..now that was a gane more for exploration but was that a beauty...clearly in terms of creativity Rockstar are the Kings

In terms of gameplay, GTA 5 is still better, but graphically Cyberpunk 2077 is on a completely different level, plus the game has improved a lot after the last updates and it's actually a pretty good game now, I give credit for that.

@@gilgameshomar story yeah but graphics not really cyberpunk has overdrive ray tracing rdr2 doesn’t and even without it it’s still better
