Kya baat hai kia Ertiga jaisi jabarjast, Kaushik ji kehtein hai 07 seater isko lao super, maine safari dark edition book kr diya 23 February ko delivery hai, sher to sher hai, mai bhi kharidunga , sry kharid liya hu aana baki hai, sahi hai mard wali feeling aati to hai, test drive liya to pta chla, mai seven seater le rha hu. Must say loved the Vlog. Although I had already booked my Safari, but this feedback is very reassuring. I currently own Ecosport which I also adore a lot.Since I also love driving and always wanted a bigger bindaas Gaadi which runs like bood in your veins. I also think that old model of Ecosport was the best 5 Seater option in terms of stability and thunder. Really appreciate the honest feedback …..keep inspiring. To Be SafariFied.❤

Although I am not sure if I would go for replacing tyre..assuming this would safari be a wise choice considering someone having a daily run on 60km plus..my main worry is around the fatigue that the steering wheel may/may not give..although I had a talk with some of the harrier owners and they were totally happy with the experience and were not at all complaining regarding the heavy steering even in city driving!

I will try to simplify- In a city like gurugram roads are huge, so you won't be steering too much even in slow moving traffic unlike Mumbai Bangalore where small zigzag lanes are there where you have to constantly steer, making the hard steering feel. Hence, I think it should be fine for you. Go for it if you love Safari. If you don't have special bias for Safari and ready to wait, go for XUV700, steering is butter smooth to the point it even feels fake sometimes, so easy to drive.

Yaa I liked xuv700 too, more feature packed and performance, but since its the first gen of Mahindra new launch I am pretty sure there's gonna be problems coming up and they will rectified only by 3rd generation.. besides the fiber body is a concern and anyway safari overcomes the 700 when it comes to road presence

Lots of issues with front sensors, owners who have bought it have kept it switched off due to false alarms and even a lot of service centers don't recommend them.

Safari no doubt will be on the top, Kaushikji's option of the harrier as first choice is a very dicey buy- runs on discs in the front and drums at the back. That size a car- wont take that risk at all. Also a point missed- center of gravity is far better with the new safari as compared to the harrier: size proportion to height of both vehicles.

Just my personal opinion i found Harrier center of gravity more perfect than Safari. I felt in Safari they just extended the existing platform and added weight. Again, I haven't done any professional test. Just a feeling. Harrier has strong dynamics, and also I like the suspension tuning on it more than Safari (not to say Safari is any less). I can see why for a lot of people Harrier is still a great option. It's a very difficult choice between both actually, if they provide ventilated seats and all new features to harrier. But Safari will be on top at the end of the day due to its great Highway curising stability.

Its really nice to see you both. I have a question, i am scared to take Tata Vehicle because i feel i should get a new car and should not have kind of physical issues. I have heard that people have issues if we leave the stearing wheel, it goes in an another direction or any other physical damage or issues. I stay in Bangalore... Any good dealers here. Currently, i have a Brezza and want to upgrade to Safari. I have taken a test drive in Safari and i am totally satisfied. Kindly reply.

Go for it, I am getting my Safari next week. I know few Safari owners, there is no such big left pull problem as created by some vloggers. I did a test drive again and specially checked the steering, no issues. Just a little heavy, even that is no big deal. Probably some cars are having such issues and it is mostly due to tire or alignment and can happen to any car. One more thing, know 3 safari owners personally and they are really happy with it, no steering issues. Infotainment hangs once in a while, other than that nothing.

Sir, we are 240 Safari owners group, we have not 'created' the left pull problem, it is there in many units, this is a fact. If you don't have problem, happy for you, be happy. But we don't 'create' pull problem. Don't give false accusations on me. Tata has acknowledged the issue yesterday and it's now 80% fixed. I have receipt.

Can’t call a car an SUV without 4x4. Also 360 camera is a must. At this price point at least parking sensors front and side is a must. To be honest these guys are just justifying their buy. The only reason someone will go for safari is road presence and less waiting period. PERIOD.

Yes, there is steering feedback since day one as this is hydraulic. But for me it is not increasing as such. Badder the roads, terrible it can be. But honestly in the mountains that was giving me a secure feeling on knowing the terrain, but in city not so much.
