'WILLOW', our mini, ombre, mono sleeved dress was worked in 7 main parts for a size 6-8 individual.
This dress can be 'dressed' up for work and parties as well as 'dressed' down for a night out with the girls.
Stitches used were:
🧶 Hdc
🧶 Sc
🧶 Granny stitch
🧶 FpBpDc
🧶Part 1: We worked the body from the bottom / base upwards in hdcs.
You may start out with a measurement between 5-10 inches wider than your hip and decrease evenly until you get to the armpit.
🧶Note: This dress can be crafted in any length. If you desire an ankle length, you may start out with a much wider base OR you start the project from the armpit and work downwards, increasing it evenly as you work down before returning to work the front and back panels for the arm holes, shoulders and neck region.
🧶Part 2: We worked the front panel then the left back and right back panels
🧶Part 3: We joined the shoulders to create a neck line.
🧶Part 4: We edged the arm holes and neckline with two rows of sc each.
🧶Part 5: We worked the sleeve creating more ganny clusters at the shoulder region and then evenly around the arm hole for the length of the sleeve.
🧶Part 6: We worked the sleeve's wrist in 3 rows of FpBpDc
🧶 Part 7: We edged the base of the dress in chains and sc.

✔️Hip
✔️Desired Sleeve length
✔️Desired dress length
Very easy to follow for intermediate and advanced Crochet skill levels.
Note that this same technique can be replicated for any size just by adjusting the measurements.
