Another video on core replacement for iPhone batteries. I have been working to provide answers to all questions related to the core battery replacements. I want to allow others to implement this repair in their business.
XCAP BMS from injuredgadgets.com is a new solution that makes for a quicker repalcement and lower cost per battery.

Hey great video man! I myself was just wondering what the difference was between ampsentrix core and Xcap. Are you in CPRST? Also where do you get your battery adhesives from? They look good quality

Yes I’m in CPRST, battery adhesives from Mobile Sentrix or Injured Gadgets. Both have great quality adhesives.

How does this work with X range? Is it just simply the same minus the tag on flex?

Great video I am about to replace my own Iphone 11 pro battery so have had to buy a lot of new bits and pieces because it will be my first attempt at doing these batteries but it is a shame because I've changed so many of the earlier models batteries over the years it makes no sense to me why Apple have done this however they are money grabbers so I understand it but still its great that there is a way to get around it however I have had to buy a reusable tag on flex which should help with the process anyway thanks this video has helped a lot.

If you’re going to do this yourself be very careful handling the battery and of course take extra care to avoid bridging the two leads of the battery together. This is not a repair for beginners, I am also available if you want to mail the photo me to me and have it done.

@@phonedoctorbrady-phoneande8886 Thanks for the advice I understand battery safety as I have worked on quite a few mobile devices in my time but still baffles me why Apple would do this knowing the dangers and also knowing people will definitely try to replace their own batteries money grabbing so and so's

To recap: - injured gadget magic at 28min with lightning connection? Is it software name or what u are referring to when connected? - no programming with this tag? So original bms is reprogrammed?or just info to phone sent? Thx

Very nice video, thank you! I love your channel. Do you have experience with battery condition below 65 percent? I hear it's hard to reprogram a new battery. I'm now having a problem with an iPhone 11 with an AmpSentrix battery - the original battery was 64% condition. After welding the BMS to the new battery, DCPS boot, deleting the cycles and setting the condition to 100% with JC tag-on flex, my phone now says 55% condition. Will it help to flash the phone?

This will be a weld issue in my experience, imagine the battery is water and needs to flow to the bms. If you have solid connection you have good flow and easy access to all the contents of the battery so the bms records the health as high. Imagine then if you have week connection and poor flow you can see how the bms would record a weaker percentage

So I weld it again... Now I have 100% condition but Important message and Service is still here.. I try flash phone with 3utools too and still the same 😕Im desperate

@@Smart112567 working on the solution for this. Right now my advice is to inform the customer that the capacity is back to 100% but the message to service the battery does not immediately go away. I believe that after some time of use with 100% capacity that it may go away.

Thank you for the informative video! Sorry if it is a dumb question but I am only planning to do this on my personal phone and I was wondering if the bms swap is necessary to get battery stats or is it enough to buy the more expensive battery with another bms and use the tag on flex on that one?

No matter how much you spend on a battery you will need to do a bms swap to have battery health data and the updated percentage. This is not a beginners DIY repair. If you’d like to send your device to me I can handle it for you or I can help find you someone closer to you to handle the repair.

100% is read only on the device, but in 3utools it remains the same as the previous percentage for example 78% before battery change. is it possible that the 78% percentage will slowly increase to or near 100% over time based on your experience so far, sir?

@@yourclips9974 it takes atleast 14 days for the true battery health to record within iOS and show on 3u tools. And this only works if the install is perfect as well

@@phonedoctorbrady-phoneande8886 iPhone 11 battery replacement in this video it's been 2 months ago, from the old battery 81% has been replaced with a new battery which now shows 100% on the device. I believe that 2 months ago you also noticed that when connected to 3utools it displays 81% and lets say 950 times of charging. you say with a perfect battery replacement in about 14 days it will show real health in 3utools. is now the iphone 11, let's say for example it has become 99% and 45 times charging? I ask because your method is exactly the same as I did in replacing the iPhone 11 battery and above and without including additional flex into the device. thank you sir for the response

I tried this repair on my iPhone 11 battery , I did the first boot up with the charger and I did get the important battery health message but when I switch the phone off to reboot it , I end up taking out the mini Adapter to early an now the battery health is still at 79% .... so my question to you now is . do I need to get a brand new battery again and start back all over or is the a way to reset everything an start from there ? !

u need a battery programmer like jcid v1se wifi to reprogram the health and cycle count to rest the old data to 100%

The tag in flex is not needed to be left there, only leave it there if you don’t want the battery condition to go down 100%, as the tag on flex would never let it work properly as it should

Do you still need a tag on flex if you have a programmer?
