Madeleine was my first Trudon candle also and started my obsession with the brand!! Love your channel, you really know your luxury candles

Ah the staff at the Spring Street Trudon store are always so sweet! I go there more often than I care to admit 😅 I’ve started dabbling in their fine fragrances too and I’m loving what they do there in addition to the candles.

Thank you once again for this candle review. I really want to consider my personal options to invest in a luxury candle at that price point. I’m loving and enjoying my everyday PF Candle Co, Weekly LAFCO, Harlem Candle Co etc. and on occasion Jo Malone. Your suggestions have helped me grow. I have to think twice/thrice when gifting - not everyone is worth it. I just received my copy of “Let It Burn”. It will go well on a cold evening; reading with a burning scent in the background.

Luxury candle brands offer more complex, refined and unusual scents than commercial/supermarket/mid and low end brands. They also have vessels made of more expensive materials with interesting designs. They're more likely to collaborate with perfumers, artists and illustrators. The French are obviously the top of the fragrance tree. I prefer these candles and they're definitely a treat. They are better than cheaper candles regardless of what a bbw or yankee fan might say. All of those candles have their place but you get what you pay for, you really do.

I loved hearing your thoughts about paraffin wax candles and I'm so glad to hear what Cire Trudon is made of!

Don’t worry us guys in New Zealand pay $195 New Zealand dollars for a curio noir candle which would be around $300 American dollars. They are worth it. Highly recommend the Pablo candle.

I concur about quality. De Marly, MFK, kilians, House of Bo, Bond no. 9, liquids illuminare are some of my favorite fragrance brands. Along with a handful of others. We pay for quality and expertise in these products. The scent has a time, place, mood etc. i use them each for different seasons, moods, occasions. Same with candles. They are such a beautiful part of setting a mood and accompanying a moment crating a memory. And what a great to experience a candle from first burn to last and have a beautiful vessel to be reminded of the candle and moments while burning it. I love reusing my candle vessels for a myriad of things. I only own one Trudon item a stunning, fresh, clean room spray in Reggie. Not only is the spray stunning but the highest of quality. I have a decor that has a very world travel slight steampunk type if design. And this Trudon sprayer fits in as if it was born in my livingroom. I am so excited to try the candle. Your favor or scent is the one that sounds the most appealing to me along with Ernesto. Fornasetti simply makes me happy when I see it. I can see collecting both the candles and room sprays and putting the vessels in a glass cabinet or on shelves as display. Same for Trudon So sorry my comments are always so long. I simply get so happy with your videos I want to say it all.

Balmoral is my favorite Trudon. I like it because it doesn’t smell like any other candle I’ve smelled! ❤

Love Fornasetti candles. Totally agree that the original style candles are so much better than the new collection. The new ones are also a lot more expensive and just don't have the same degree of personality, not so unique. Really sad that they changed them, I think most people feel the same and the new ones are not as popular.
