The Mercedes 560SL is one of those cars that just stands the tests of time. We had this royal blue Mercedes Benz in the shop for a refresh-level detailing and ceramic coating. The car came to us with a pretty nasty scratch on the passenger door that the repaint didn't quite fix so we wet sanded it down and brought it back to life.
We took off all the trim and gave them a nice solid cleaning, along with a fresh coat of ceramic protection. Then we did a ceramic coating to the entire body. We even dry ice cleaned the engine bay. This car will live for a-whole-nother lifetime!

great video, but I would like to see a listing of the specific products you used at each buffing stage. it went too fast to see how many passes you gave of each area and what products you used at each stage. ceramic can be a bit tricky... some better than others, and also what grade of cutting/polishing liquid you started with, went to in a second pass, and ended with.... etc. are you actually using your machine polisher with ceramic..? or was the ceramic just a final wipe-on wipe-off when all the cutting polishing was done...? thx

Magnificent work on a stunning car. Just one question, not a criticism, I’m wondering why the paint touch ups came after the ceramic coating application? Is it just preference? You guys are the absolute best detailers out there. Love your work! 🇨🇦👍

Thanks for the support! It's mostly preference. Sometimes I do before but mostly after. I think I had a few problems with single stage paint touchup before coating, because the coating reacts with fresh paint and removed that a little.

Beautiful work! How soon after fresh paint can you apply the ceramic coating? I'd like to get mine done, but it's at the painters getting touched up.

I always tell my clients to wait at least 30 days after new paint

Change the bumpers and the wheels. Then get a new designed top and rebuild the engine so tou get 350 hp.

I’m sure a bunch ($000). Only the rich can enjoy the classic car world these days. Like every other asset the classic car world is ludicrously over priced.
