Pan, I have one to add to your list! Cleaning the windshield wiper blades. I always wipe the blade during contact wash. This can make a noticeable difference in rain and help preserve any coatings on the glass. The blades can get surprisingly filthy.

Great Tips Pan! One area that i noticed recently in a used vehicle I just purchased is the Leather bag around the shift lever on Automatic cars (when the vehicle is in any other gear other than park). When the car is in Drive that area is exposed and there is lots of dust an debris that gets neglected. This is because its never seen when the car is in park during a detail! I will make a note to shift the car into gear (with brake on of course) in order to clean this area next time.

Thanks for all the great tips! I would love to see a more detailed video on polishing. Most videos show how to polish on a big flat surface area like the hood, but it would also be helpful to see how you polish smaller areas, side mirrors, odd body panel contours, around emblems, etc.

Hi Pan. I'm just a weekend warrior but it is those hard to reach areas that get neglected. Like the inside parts next to the front seats. You have to move the seats front to back and back again to clean the carpets. We all know those parts when something falls there and you can't get your hand in. I always say to myself - no one knows it's dirty there, or other hidden parts, but I know it is dirty. And you can't fool yourself.

Proud to say that I do all the things you mentioned in the video, although I do forget to lower the windows once in a while! I have to add that tomorrow, June 25, will make 1 year since I discovered your channel! Best thing ever! I'm 69 years old, have been washing the family cars since I was 10. Upon discovering you, the first detailing channel I ever saw, has changed the way I wash, clean and maintain my vehicles drastically. I used to be a 1 bucket with a sponge, etc. No more... it's the Pan the Organizer way for sure!! Thank you very much and continued success in the future...looking forward to that 1 million subscriber mark!!

I loved your tips on this one! When you said trunk jambs that reminds me of a common area missed on bigger SUVs like Tahoe and Yukon which is the SECOND hatch jamb. A lot of people get the main one but they forget the little button that actually opens the glass to reveal a second jamb or area dirt looooves to get trapped in 😊 keep up the good videos 🤝🏼

Thanks for the tips on areas commonly missed. I’m glad to say I am 12 for 12 in my daily detailing. I would like to add that the hood channels and cowl can remain dirty and full of debris on many vehicles. I added it to my routine a couple years ago and generally use the pressure washer to blast out the channels. Thanks for all your advice!

For the pedals I clean with an apc/degreaser first then I use chemical guys rubber floor mat renew. This ensures they are thoroughly clean and revived back to that oem look without being unsafe or slippery. It doesn't compromise safety and it looks much better than without the chemical guys rubber floor mat renew. I would definitely recommend

Thanks Pan!! There are areas I know I don't give enough attention to, but with this video I can make mental notes for my next detail session. Also an area that could get missed is the underfloor storage in your SUV, I always vacuum it out and use an interior cleaner/detailer on it.

Excellent tips! Growing up in Upstate New York I learned at a very early age to pay attention to the door and trunk and wheel wells like you mentioned. The reason however was rust prevention. that's where a lot of debris including road salt accumulated causing the vehicle to RUST😢 So nice cars are better protected now And moved to the desert Southwest🌞

Hi Pan, Since watching your channel for about a year now. I have learned most of the tips you mention today. I did miss a few like tail pipes. I was actually happy when the first one was door jams which I do now regularly. All I have to do is use a APC and microfiber towel. Yea a little spritz and wipe there you are done. As always thank you for all that you do in helping us maintain our vehicles. By the way from a DIY'er I now have my first detailing job and ceramic coating.

Thanks for the tips. On the other hand... Have you think about to wrap some parts of your cars? For example: 1- I consider that you can wrap the mirror side in High Gloss Black 2- The Aleron Spoiler in High Gloss Black 3- Turn in smoke black your headlights... 4- Put a Tint in all glass. I guess 50% smoke. This tuning I consider will do your car looks much more amazing and sport

Thanks for the video! I USED to miss areas. I solved it by creating a checklist of things I missed on past details. EVERY item on your video was missed by me on past details until I came up with the list. Two areas I missed in the past: behind the front seats and lower part of steering column under the dash. Since I own a Subaru Outback station wagon not having a rear deck, I have a note to detail the rear deck (pulling a detailed sedan out of the garage and noticing the rear deck wasn’t touched gets me to utter a few foul words!).

Other usually missed areas : 1. Quarter windows 2. Under the back seats of SUVs 3. Gear shifter (move the shifter to drive and clean) 4. Gap between steering and where it's mounted 5. Seatbelt up/down area from your it's pulled

I've noticed one area that people tend to overlook is the narrow space between the front seats and the floor. I suspect that's because it's hard to reach by hand and also because nozzles on the vacuums at car washes are too large to get into those areas. Not to mention, most car owners don't have vacuums just for cleaning their cars. I washed my car late yesterday and as I was inspecting it this morning, I noticed that I hadn't gotten the area around the car's letters as clean as I should have. Took care of it asap upon noticing. Admittedly, I've never cleaned the tailpipe. I can't see it on the car, but I know it has one. Otherwise, I do get the other areas that you mentioned. Cool video, by the way!

You got me on number 10, don’t think I’ve ever cleaned those mirrors. I would add “underneath the seats”. I would love to know your take on the best way to fill in rock chips or scratches? My ford mustang has very thin water based paint and it seems to get chipped very easily. I had it ceramic coated with System X MAX professionally, and I am regretting not getting PPF applied first.

I like to clean the inside of the windscreen wiper arm, the bit with the spring. I apply trim dressing in there (car pro perl) and when your driving and can see the inside shining and dark black, it looks good. Great video pan.

Hi Pan, Great video.👍 I always notice other people's cars when they neglect the inside of the fuel filler flap, bonnet and boot shuts. My Scooby has pillarless doors, so don't have to worry about dropping the windows. Another areas I like to keep clean as they can be seen, are the rear diff endplate and back box which is stainless steel. Both are polished to a shine. Keep up the great work. I always enjoy your videos.👍😎 All the best, John.🙂

A tip for those who don't want to use a pressure washer or sprayer on door jambs: to keep water out of the interior, try a waterless wash (Pan has reviewed several) in a pump sprayer. Agitate with a brush and/or wipe with a microfiber towel...

A comment about wheel wells: remove the felt/plastic liner and clean the flange of the well, especially if the roads are salted. The first brand new car I purchased was a '79 Camaro and my father advised me to rinse the wheel well lip out (and drag my finger around it to loosen dirt) at least weekly during the winter months here in the Cleveland area. When my car was totalled in '88, there was no sign of rust. Further, I did brush on a rustoleum paint in the wheel well flanges (and areas under the hood). I then had the car undercoated and maintained yearly.

0:54 true but look at the water spilling to the interior!😆 as a DIYer, I discovered this myself but spraying door jambs just not advisable. simply wipe it with a damp cloth. areas that can be cleaned or reached don't matter as common people don't notice it anyway.

Thx for great tips!!! things that must to renember: the console between the two front chairs, The areas under the seats - I always forget to vacuum there properly, I recently discovered that there is a lot of dust and dirt on all the plastics of the electrical systems under the front seats, for those that have a common trunk with the passenger compartment like in Mazda, Toyota, etc. - dust always accumulates on the plastics that are between These two areas. Another tip is the rear window that has an anti-fog system - we should always clean it well and carefully
