I definitely need to check out the auto scrub. I have a bottle of Gyeon MOHS I’ve been waiting to put on my car. Still debating on if I want to 2 stage or not. Car Pro reflect really does a great job on a yellow pad. Probably just need to 2 stage the piano black pillars.

Ppf on the b pillars is a wise idea once it gets corrected. They scratch so easily.

@@Scoobyfreak86 Yeah. I had them crystal clear and within a month they started scratching. Might have to try the Dawn as well. I was always told to never use it, but makes sense to prep for coating.

@BWIL19 yes it’s only to be used for decon and prepping the paint for polish. Otherwise, stick to the normal car wash soaps for normal washes.

I've been debating between an F80 m3 or 2020 m340i. Pricing is very similar so its a hard decision. Shall I go with an older shape/outdated interior but at least I'll have an M car or go with a newer look with updated interior which does look very pleasing. I really like the look of the newer one too.

Both great cars! I don’t think you can go wrong with either choice, but once you drive a true m car, you won’t want to own or drive any other bmw. Just my 2 cents!

What brand ppf did you go with? If you have minor chips and small scratches would you still consider ppf?

It’s xpel. I still don’t think I’d invest in ppf as I’m a big paint guy. Just prefer the look of paint over ppf. I’d rather repaint panels when the time comes than do ppf. Just me though.

Did you notice any damage to the ppf from the nanoscrub?

No micro scratching from the auto scrub. It is the fine grade so it goes a great job taking off the contaminants but decreasing the chances of scratching.

I know this is completely off-topic, but can I polish a car outside after sunset? Or it has to be done indoors at all times. (lol FYI I don’t have a garage )

Absolutely can be done outside. Just have to make sure the paint is cool to the touch and not in direct sunlight. Also, a very calm day with no wind to keep the paint clean as much as possible.
