It was nice to see you Larry doing an extensive research about how jeepneys became our daily transportation in the Philippines. A certain reason why I really love your channel and you as you work on different cars because it's more than a job for you. Thanks for another great episode!

Great episode Larry. I just moved over here to the Philippines in February and here to stay. Jeepneys are used everywhere here as daily public transportation. Otherwise people have scooters for getting around. The typical cost of a a jeepney ride is literally under $1 USD. No windows, a bench seat on either side and now since the pandemic only like 12 passengers, otherwise before they would pack like 25 people in them. Keep up the great videos and you totally inspired me in getting into paint correction.

That jeep reminds me of a story my dad told me. He was logging on a piece of land where they held a competition to see who's vehicle could get through a mud bog. A Jeep wrangler with a custom aluminum body was stuck and my dad who had been using his skidder to pull the trucks outs. He Went to pull the jeep out. The skidder uses a heavy duty steel cable to pull logs out. So he lets it out and the owner of the jeep attaches it to the body. As my dad begins to winch it in. It folds the body. like a tin can. Guy was angry at my dad. But it was the guy's fault for attaching to body and not the frame.

Jeepneys are just willy's jeep with extended body you won't expect safety features from a vehicle that existed since the ww2 without any major change. the passenger one usually have bench seat. but they are nowhere near dangerous since they are pretty slow. they are also easy to drive if you maintain them properly

Just my opinion/suggestion. You could've vacuumed the interior with brush and vacuum at the start so the dust and dried soils wont be muddy when it gets wet especially with this kind of jeep. That's how we clean ours before.

Great video and a great vehicle! I hope the folks at AI Design watched this carefully, they should be very aware of what changes they need to make cleaning the interior much easier, like better quality seat material, easy to remove interior components, and maybe even revising some interior design to eliminate some tiny nooks that will only serve to hold dirt and eventually start to rot. Looks amazing though, love the finish!
