You know you can hose them off , scrub them “with soap” and suck out the water with a wet dry vac. And they’ll dry in about 10 minutes on a dry day.

That’s correct because the way they are cleaning the carpet on this video all the dirt and bacteria still on the bottom of the carpet.

Dry brushing the carpet in opposite lines can permanently bend those fibers in those directions. It's advisable to just brush the carpet in a uniform direction.

I never understood the point of this. To me it looks fake not natural grain of the fabric and yes it can damage. Also all are now using them spinning brush headson drill also damage. Just use damp soapy microfibre towel and scrub.

I've gotten into many arguments with other professional detailers. Guys who literally spend 45 min doing uninformed lines and putting their logo into the carpet instead of just cleaning it. Then they find the best angle and post it on socials

When I was detailing full time at a shop we called that dry cleaning I’ve cleaned some nasty carpets and floor mats and seats this way works so fast and cleans good

Why the brush and the cleaner? Just get a Tornador with an attached bottle for fluid on it. Clean once with fluid and once without - done. Works even with much dirtier mats than shown in the video.

Leaving soap in there it's not a good idea . The best way is Spraying down all of the carpet floor mats with all-purpose cleaner ,Use stiff nylon brush & only scrub bad areas. Pressure wash the mats . Hang to dry , squeegie dry , or shop vac. THIS IS THE ONLY & BEST WAY.

personally I protect my fabric mats with rubber mats on top and hose my rubbers down and hoover/clean my original mats to keep them pristine. am wary of this really rough treatment

And this is why i dont let people clean my cars. You need to rinse that cleaning solution out! Blowing it out with air isnt good enough. As a IICRC certified carpet and upholstery cleaner this is horrifying

Get a bottle brush and cut the stick down. Put that in your drill and no more hand brush.

this is called the lazy way to clean mats lmao. yeah jsut keep pilling the cleaner on top and never fully extract it. You wash your hands with just soap, no water and blow the soap off? lol. DONT DO THIS..

Ну и фигня же вышла. Сначала разбил грязь, растер ее по ковру, вместо того, чтобы сборочным пылесосом собрать грязь - взяли торнадор и вбили внутрь всю грязь. Часть конечно вылетела, а основная теперь еще глубже. Дышать будет приятно 🤦‍♂️

Plus you need a 20 gallon compressor as the Tornador is an air hog, and that requires a 20 amp electrical outlet or the customer's circut breaker will blow. Happened to me several times. I got rid of my Tornador and the compressor.
