B-25J Mitchell 1/48 Hong Kong Models

Today I have prepared a new kit of B-25 Mitchell medium bomber from Hong Kong Models. At the time of the build, there were no accessories for this kit yet, so I upgraded it with universal accessories by Eduard, Aber, Master and ASK Distribution. And of course, lots of handmade details. I will also show the weathering with watercolor crayons.

U Vás je jedno jakou stavebnici si vyberete, výsledek je vždy perfektní. Líbí se mi jak modely vylepšujete ze základních modelářských polotovarů a jste tak kolikrát schopen nahradit či rozšířit doplňkové sady. Fotky konkrétních partií skutečné předlohy jsou pro video super věc. I já se tedy přidávám se skromnou gratulací - jen tak dál :)

Comme d'habitude toujours un plaisir un voir pour la mise en place des différents détails, rajout de pièces et création d'intérieur. La mise en peinture est toujours aussi belle et de qualité. Superbe modèle et une magnifique vidéo. ~~ As usual always a pleasure to see for the installation of the various details, addition of parts and creation of interior. The painting is still beautiful and of high quality. Great model and a great video.

Superb job! I'm really impressed at the very fine work you have shown in getting the model finished - and your video production is on par with the mad modelling skills. Your technique of collecting the cut roundel mask under a sheet of film is very clever - sneaky 😮 Well done, indeed! Most excellent! Very well done , I've been modeling over 50 years and you never cease to amaze me. I've tried several times to replicate the riving as you have done here but I can't ever get it to look right. I'm wondering where you get the blue prints to show you how to lay out the rivet patterns.

Thank you all for your feedback. Drawings with the layout of rivet rows are available in professional literature and sometimes freely on the Internet. But mostly I use photos of real airplanes.

You can also check out Topdrawings from Kagero. They are 20-30 page booklets with rivet schematics in various scales. There are dozens of aircraft to choose from.

Truly amazing work, thank you for sharing! When my brother and I were growing up, we always put bullet holes in our planes for "realism" tho I suppose those were patched up between missions. Anybody ever do this?

Dobrý den. Patrně myslíte tu zelenou folii, ze které vyřezávám masky. Je to klasická samolepící folie do ploteru. Ja ji mám od firmy O-mask (obchodní název - maskovací folie). Ta čirá, kterou lepím na vyřezané masky, je přenášecí folie.
