I had a trip to find new things, about 3 hours walk from my tent, I encountered wild boars, they live mainly here, quite crowded and there are a lot of wild boars, I decided build a mud hut, camouflage with defenses to guard against the unexpected when the pigs approach, the trip is expected to last until I get what I want, thanks for watching the video.!

Please be very careful around wild boar, they are no joke. You will also need a fence around your crops, boar can ruin your harvest. Last but not least, you might want to look into making a bow and arrows with iron arrowheads, and a spear with an iron spearhead.

emergency shelter...ok not a bad idea shit happens. hide and defend from what ? in nothramerica setting traps is not legal for defence so the pungi sticks cant be used here. it looks like the chimney for the fireplace is undersized and in need of height unless you are making a smokehouse lol get the chimney over the roof peak and it should draw and clear your smoke. thanks for the videos

@@Nemesis.988 That requires some good quality weapons, boars are no joke, they can easily kill you if provoked, and they are tough to bring down. Boar hunts were the end of many nobles, for example, from my coutry, Count Miklos Zrínyi was killed by an injured boar in a hunt. In the medieval period, there were weapons (board sword, boar spear) specifically designed for hunting them, because they were so hard to bring down with conventional hunting equipment of the time.

Wild boar are dangerous to hunt as they will more often than not charge you and a boar tusk can severely injure or kill you, it's better to hunt them with spears/polarmes and get them to kill themselves by luring or driving them into a pitfall or spear braced trap.

im worried about the amount of smoke in there... that could lead to carbon monoxide death. Even as ventilated as he made it it is still a danger. Also, i hope that you never trip and fall onto those spikes in the dark looking for the emergency shelter... thats far more dangerous than anything that may consider visiting the place sniffing around.

@@da_leen I've watched every one of these episodes and actually tend to agree with @paleghost69. In a couple episodes we see things that you wouldn't be able to get without going into a town to trade for or buy.. One that i remember most specifically was in one episode he had obtained iron bars that were not hand smelted(had perfectly squared edges). He's gotta upload the videos from somewhere, also he has to charge the camera somewhere..

Very confused by the need for this shelter. The only reason I could see it as necessary if you were extremely far from home, and the boars were in your way such that you couldn't get back. But if that were the case, you would have spent part of the day traveling, and theres no way you would have had time to build all of that. Again. Super confused. Also, that's a LOT of smoke inside your shelter.

I would suggest making bamboo caltrops since they make a really good defense and dont take up much resources to make.

only real way to safely deal with a hog for him would be an SKS loaded with soft points or a 12 gauge with sabot slugs!! hogs are MEAN sons of bitches i've seen pitbulls that have tore up and killed by hogs!!!

Here’s an idea: Build a pigpen with cement walls and lure the boars in there to trap them. Then you can have roast pig whenever you want.

Wild boars... I usually call them little devil's pets. Their skin are thick, they have sharp side teeth like fangs, they fight in group, resistant, resilient and violent. I would recommend a good trap to catch them, never direct attack. Good luck my friend.

Unless he has a way to cure/preserve it killing it would be very wasteful. Most of it would spoil before he could eat it. I suppose he could build a smoke house and smoke it along with fish.
