Leon and Claire's relationship has always been... interesting. They both met each other on the single most important (and horrifying) day of their lives, and within the span of a few hours they were already going steady(?) with an adopted kid in tow. However, in only seven days, their cute family consisting of a not-so-much-anymore rookie, a Queen-loving biker chick and an adorable little girl (who's just happy to be there) was broken, torn asunder by already existing family bonds.
Now that a significant amount of time has passed, Leon and Claire meet once more under similar circumstances, but are now entirely different people. One has given up bikes (though her love for Queen reigns eternal) and the other is now a seasoned zombie-suplexing agent. Will the love that was there before once again take hold? Or are they doomed to a future of awkwardness and silence, much like other former couples" We can only see.... what's written in the stars.
...Or something philosophical like that.
I literally broke VEGAS rendering all of this high-quality footage together, and not to mention the myriad of audio files and audio tracks that I used to create the soundscapes certainly didn't help things. I'm pretty sure I heard my GPU make a few very unhealthy noises while I was doing test renders. Welp, that's what happens when you use a professional grade program whilst under the minimum system requirements.
It's honestly a miracle I finished this at all. In a way, this project really is... MADE IN HEAVEN.

Be warned: a seriously unserious fanfiction-tier story resides within! ------ I seriously pushed my computer to its limits with this video. Degeneration's high quality footage notwithstanding, the footage from REmake 2 and Darkside Chronicles was originally in 720p, so I tried to upscale them a bit to look better in 1080p. I still don't know if it was worth it. That, coupled with all of the filters I used for Claire's flashback sequences made my GPU make some... unhealthy sounds during the rendering process, to say the least. Even with the use of proxies, and all sorts of memory-saving and CPU-utilization tricks, towards the end of this project I was crashing every 30 mins or so, no goofing. Welp, that's what happens when you don't meet the minimum system requirements for VEGAS Pro I guess. I also ended up cutting an entire section and replacing it with a less complex scene (as I so eloquently note in the video.) I spent two week creating assets and messing with keyframes for that scene, so y'know. Whatever. It's a miracle that this project got finished at all. In addition to all of the hardware/software problems, I got really sick during the post-production phase of this, which delayed everything for about 2-3 weeks. This project really is... Made in Heaven. On another note, this project really is the culmination of all the hard work of the wonderful VA's I've met throughout my time in the voice acting world. I want to really, truly, forever, personally thank them for helping me create this. I've always wanted to do an overarching series where individual videos connect together (whether indirectly or directly) and The Redfield Lineage Chronicles is pretty much that idea taken form. Detective Masterclass You have no idea how much I like this series. I don't know if it will be much of help, but if you need someone to render your videos in the meantime, I could help you with it. It seems that my PC can handle minimum requirements for Vegas Pro. I believe a lot of people love your work, it's a shame that parts were needed to be cut off from this video. Anyway, cheers!

@@DetectiveMasterclass all of the footage from games i use is from my own recordings anyway, except for code veronica, i was normally too lazy to record it again for my own videos to take out the original subtitles but i am willing to do so if you ever need it

It's a good thing Leon uses protection. It's too bad he's "just a really good guy". In a way, he's carried on the Redfield Lineage already -as his personal curse, not his actual child.

@@inr9751 Like RE3R, I found it inconsistent and poorly written. Like people who don't actually know anything about the series or the lore were in charge. Man, I wrote a long comment after finishing the game where I wrote down everything that didn't make sense in both this and RE7 at one point, but it's been such a long time since I played Village, I've completely forgotten.

Soo Claire left Leon who was already into her and decided come back after abandoning Leon and Sherry. So now Claire wants to bang Leon, ans Chris is insisting on it beck she knew she made a mistake. And Leon rejects the notion because he doesn't want to relive the seemingly traumatized moment of Claire abandoning him. HOLY SHIT!!!!! What a Plot twist!!!!!

The voice actors in this are good. Like, really good. You guys are definitely professional and not just regular RE fans I thought you would be. Including the editor. Is there any high profile things you guys have worked on?

Thank you for the kind words! I've done everything from radio (I've both co-hosted a show and hosted my own show), to parade announcing (though that gig was a whole fiasco), to narrations for a historical KZfaq channel. On the production side, I'm Pro Tools certified and have 5+ years of video and audio editing experience. As for the rest of the cast, you can check the description for links to their YT's or Social Media to see what they've done. All of em' are good people, and I am extremely thankful that I've been able to meet and work with them.
