Im guessing the building industry Or is the sand used to make concrete? I was recently surprised to learn that it is believed by classical anthropologists & historians that it was the ancient Romans who discovered the making of concrete! They even re-inforced their concrete buildings with an ancient form of Rebar, using metal rods or hard wood trees & using it between layers of concrete! Anyway, thank you so much for your reply & giving a glimpse into your lives, you seem to work with some happy people & it really is quite soothing to watch you all Probing away pockets of crumbly sand, Although i live in the far north of England, near the Scottish borders, ive lived & worked & had holidays all over the world Ive nor been to Indonesia main islands , i did accompany an investigation team, researching new wild life in the water ways of Borneo! Oh it was so hot & extremely humid, & the waterways & jungle were sometimes a bit daunting & intimidating especially at night & deep into the jungle! I was there for just over 7 weeks & got abit used to the debilatating heat, it makes you so tired! Its very odd, to be in, of all places, & so far from home Yet to meet my Geography teacher from my school days in England, sitting in the same cafe as i sat... small world Well, im sending my regards & wish you & your family much happiness & success for all of you. 🇬🇧👧 PS its another odd thing but i used to have a friend here in England & her name was Merope ( but said, Mer oh pee) Her mother was reading About the Greek Gods on Mount Olympus & all about their adventures when she was pregnant with my friend & her mother said, she had named her after one of the 7 Muses, who came down to watch over us, Mortals & inspire all humans who studied the Arts in either painting, composing music, playing music, singing, writing poetry or great books, acting etc & each of those lady Muses was in charge of each area of painting, music etc & Merope was one of these Muses ( Muses = inspiration) I cant remember which one Merope was. Odd to think of your part of the world is at the foothills of a Mountain called Meropi. But, so far away from your culture & country & so long ago And yet there was one of the very ancient cultures of Greece & ( about 3,000 years before Christ) Greek Goddeses was Called Merope & lived on Greece's Mount Olympus!! ⛰ ! I wonder if the ancient Greek sailors travelled over the seas to visit your land OR, YOUR ancient ancestors sailed to Ancient Greece!! ⚓

This work has been passed down from generation to generation and we are always vigilant ! This sand is sent to the city of semarang throughout central java and large projects are also made for concreteers.
