Thank you for sharing, George! This is fantastic to see! I got into automotive photography thanks to you about five years ago when I learned about rigshots and your beautiful image of the P1 in Dubai. Looking forward to more videos!

I always wondered about artist getting inputs to tidying certain details on the car, thanks for clarifying. Loved the whole series and hopefully you get to talking us to through studio lighting someday :) Cheers!

Awesome video. I'm a wildlife/nature photographer but it's really neat to see your thought process in an entirely different type of photography.

I do when making a video... Took me a while to work out what each one did and label them!

Awesome shot and great video dude. Also, great to see you on here mate. I saw your shots years ago on Pistonheads and they inspired me to pick up my camera and learn some car light painting! Still doing it these days (as a hobby) so yeah, thanks for the inspiration. Wishing you all the best 👍

Just stumbled on your page. Awesome work. I've been shooting fitness and portraits but the opportunity to shoot some super cars is about to happen. So I'd personally love to see some in depth tutorials. Keep up the awesome work.

Love this man. Can you please do a tutorial on color toning and how you approach it?
@GFWilliamsnet4 жыл бұрын
I will at some stage, I like to keep things fairly simple and neutral at the moment .
@vitaliyyavtukhovskyi59474 жыл бұрын
You were not tempted to show off a bit more of the interior instead of just a large glare on the glass? Great edit by the way, excellent work!
@GFWilliamsnet4 жыл бұрын
I wanted to keep things a little more simplistic for this set, these photos were more about showing the shape of the car than every part of detail.

very nice and well made video! I'm curious how you do the "supercars in the rain" edits, could you make a similar style video on those?
@GFWilliamsnet4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I'm sure I could!

I've always wondered how to lit with constant light sources. After seeing this video I may very well give it a try. What size studio were you using and how do you reduce the reflections of where the camera is?
@GFWilliamsnet4 жыл бұрын
Normally car studio size, you use black felt to avoid camera reflections :)

i have a question that relates to the car. does anyone know how the shifting works? because from what i’ve seen, the car has a 6-speed manual transmission but the shifter looks like it’s in a very confined space. does it just have extremely short throws?
@GFWilliamsnet4 жыл бұрын
This is the pre production car, for the production car it'll be a 6 speed manual. I don't know how it'll work at this stage though.

Could you share this kind of PSD file? It could help to understand a good composition and all this lightning stuff

Hello George! Just love your work you're one of my inspiration to try to give my best when I take pictures. I've sent you a message on insta, I would like to know if you'd planned to make a tutorial on your KZfaq channel like you've made for the detomaso but for the buggati with the complet white background that is on your website because it could be very usefull to me and others. I've a little idea on how to make it but not sure for the result so if you can make this video it will be very very cool !
@GFWilliamsnet4 жыл бұрын
I don't have any plans to at the moment, there are other videos I want to make first which I think are more interesting than retouching videos. I think I might set up a separate channel in the future for retouching though when I have more free time...

A great insight to your work, and the skills required for the perfect image. How long did it take you to create the image, once you had downloaded the files into the computer?
@GFWilliamsnet4 жыл бұрын
I had about 24 hours to finish all the images, I don't know the exact amount of time I spent retouching, but I didn't get much sleep in that time...
@petrol_burner4 жыл бұрын
GFWilliams thanks, very interesting. I see quality images of cars, models, and scenery, but you really never know how it gets to the final image, or how long it takes. Thanks again 👍🏻
