A single small unintentional programming error prevented a whole branching conversation about Kara during Russian Roulette from beeing seen by millions of players.
This content has now been restored and this video shows all the different permutations.

Connor: "Lt Anderson ordered me not to go. I thought the deviant would be destroyed anyway" Amanda: 🔼 Cool. Makes sense Connor: "Lt Anderson ordered me not to go." Also Amanda: 🔻 "Why are you following his orders? You only have one responsibility, Connor: catching deviants." Me: 😐 *EDIT: I agree with the comments below. The difference in tone and his choice of words make all the difference, and Amanda's different reactions make perfect sense. But it's just kind of funny seeing those reactions back to back like this, and it's interesting seeing such a radically different response to what at face value are nearly identical answers.

It... makes perfect sense? lol. One option is: 'Lt. Anderson ordered me not to go, but I also made my own conclusions about the deviant's fate' whereas the other is 'Lt. Anderson ordered me not to go' which isn't good enough.

@@lunardelos1210 yeah, not to mention that Connor's condition is, in the grand scheme of things, inconsequential. For him to worry about his safety in this context is unacceptable to Amanda, since he can easily be replaced, and in a sense, could potentially show signs of deviancy due to showing cowardice. It could still be rationality, but his only priority is the mission, and dying for it if he must.

Huh I always thought it was odd they never talked about Kara. Good bad this scene couldn’t play in the released version.

I've heard of this dialogue before, but it's so cool to *actually* hear it! I wonder, couldn't it be simply added with a patch? While I doubt that this will happen four years after DBH's release, I wonder if it's possible (for the PS4 version)?

Awesome work! It's a pity this was not included in the final release, for whatever reason. By the way, is there any chance to figure out what the eternally locked option was supposed to be, the one where Connor discusses diary, signs on walls and birds, as well as the prerequisite(s) for it to unlock?

Similarly bugged, it's to discuss the deviant's worker's license and successfully passing as human. It's supposed to trigger on finding his worker ID.

@@hamers61 If so, maybe this is also the reason Rupert's coat and driver's licence always appear in the evidence room (in the upper non-explorable section) regardless of whether Connor analysed them or not. Because other items appear only under certain conditions (such as the knife appearing after it being analysed in The Partners, Pistol appearing after it being analysed in Public Enemy, Smoke bomb and tagging device appearing after Markus conducts a peaceful demonstration in Capitol Park, Molotov appearing after using it at least once during Capitol Park riot)

How come with one answer, by saying Hank ordered him not to go, her opinion went up, but with another, saying Hank ordered him not to go made it go down??

I think it’s because of the “I thought the deviant was going to be destroyed anyway” part added in the first one.
