Having DBs that are good at tackling is even more important considering the new kickoff rules so they are not just revamping the secondary they are building the best special teams team Possible too

With how the WR rooms of Chicago and Vikings are, on top of the TE's they have, we needed this. NFC might not have the QB might, but loaded weapons the NFC has in spades, so grabbing this, really helps to elevate their game.

Wow, the DB position now has studs and depth. Once the draft is done, let's see if they go get a FA who is unsigned at a position they haven't drafted (as of now that could be Edge or OL,) to add more depth. With the picks that they have left, they are late enough that those players drafted likely wouldn't be starters but backups and potentially replacements once a starter is gone. Going CB twice says to me that they are counting on a returning Houston and the FA pickup of Davenport to offset the double (and sometimes triple) teams on Hutch. Wow, I didn't see this coming, but then that's a BH speciality...never let anyone know what he's got cooking.

We had offense last year, and got more of it in the draft last year. What we needed was defense, especially at the CB position. It looks like we are getting it this year. CB is much tougher in the NFL than at the college level. Be patient with these new guys. A few more picks like those at 1 and 2, and the Superbowl is getting closer to the Lions.

What weaknesses?

So first they traded a third round pick for Carlton Davis , traded their second third round pick to move up and get Arnold in the first round , and used a second round pick for another corner. I'm perfectly fine with all of this because outside corner has been the biggest weakness for Detroit for years plus minnesota , chicago , and green bay all have a lot of weapons on offense , so I like these moves Detroit did to their secondary as long as the pass rush can improve and can get pressure without as much blitzing because Hutch can't do it all by himself every single game and now hopefully these DBS will make opposing QBs have to hold onto the ball for longer so the pass rush can get home. Brad Holmes has made some really good picks on the last day of his drafts and I would like to see him trade up early for someone he likes.

It's scary seeing Rakes first highlight clip of him going up with one hand trying to pull it down with one hand, trying to look good first instead of doing what is right and just Intercept the ball with 2 hands for his team.. Also, there's no way I believe Brad had Rake graded higher than Kool-aid and Mitchell at CB.. i really wanted Mitchell hes got the it factor like Sauce does.. .

Just have to wait and see if these picks pan out. Not getting my hopes up on a team that had the easiest run to the NFC Championship game they could have ever asked for, a down division in 2023, and the "same old Lions" throwing away a massive lead in the NFC Championship game. I'm hoping for the best though, would love to see the Lions in the Super Bowl!

Dude I dont Understand why Ennis Raikstraww is so Hyped he is not that Good at all. He literally has a 95.% QB pass rating which means QB's Complete passes on him over 95% of the time thats Horrible! His College Teamate Chris Abrams Drain would have been a way better pick! And his QB Pass Rating is only 54% completions
