In 1978 the year this is taking place I was 13. Over the next few years my best friend and I would go to as many concerts as we could afford. We saw Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Nugent, Cheap Trick and many more. Back then there was weed everywhere at concerts and it would just get passed to you by a stranger next to you. Plus almost anyone would buy us beers if we bought them one too. If our parents had any idea what actually went on at those concerts they would have freaked out. Some of the best times a kid could have, here's a shout out to my best friend and partner in crime Ronnie F.

Saw this one way too many times as a kid and it got me really into KISS. A highly underrated coming-of-age comedy. Eddie Furlong's massive vomit scene always makes me laugh my ass off. It just goes on for so long! 🤣🤣🤣 The woman who seduces him is Shannon Tweed, Gene Simmons' long-time girlfriend when this was made and now his wife.

This movie was definitely under the radar. It got completely overshadowed by the other "teen" comedy from 1999... a little movie called "American Pie". I think this one is better.

Good reaction. I love this film growing up. I recommend the stoned age for the next review. It's also a 90s classic based on 70s life.

Oooops!! I forgot to grow up!! Never married or kids, so I ditched "growin up" like I did school. Just me and my 6 dogs. In a Fort Collins CO hood a long long time ago...1977... my 2 favorite bands were KISS and AEROSMITH!! In 1980 my mom like the mom in this movie, took me to see KISS at McNichols Arena , Denver, CO, Their last tour with all original members and makeup!! WTF ma!? A joint was passed and mom decided it was time to go, so I got to hear BETH as I walked through the parking lot with my mom feeling like iiii was the one who pulled out the joint and sparked it!! Halloween 77... Ghosts, goblins, witches, stormtroopers filled the classrooms at school... but wtf are you supposed to be!? I'm Peter Criss!! Who the hell is that!? 1996, KISS, all original members with make-up, McNichols arena, Denver CO, me and my long hair was thair...as Gene fuckin Simmons!! I went to buy a beer... chick asked for my I.D.!!! I found it hilarious!! I'm Gene fuckin Simmons!! I didn't wear my KISS face to get my D.L. photo taken!! How u gonna know that person in the i.d. is me!? KISS ALIVE is my favorite album with DETROIT ROCK CITY , PARASITE and 100,000 years being favorites. LOVE GUN, favorite album cover!! Been dozing off every 3 words as I was heading to bed but saw you start this movie and I said fuckit I'm in!! Dude!! You cracked me up just now as your sign-off is basically getting off the phone!! Later dude!

So glad you included "The Creature Attacks," soundbite played when Jam's mom sees him at the show. 8:17 My first time, my friends asked what was so funny and I said, "That's the Creature From The Black Lagoon's theme music." LOL

Seen kiss in 78, 2003, 2009 the last show was the last time at Cobo. I'm a proud Detroiter and nothing like seeing kiss in Detroit!

You'll understand how entertaining this movie was after I say this. This is on my list suggestions. I enjoy this movie. And here's the kicker. I absolutely hate kiss and their music. That's how good the movie was for me I didn't even think about hating or liking the band it was all about the fun movie. You can check my list reaction I sent one time. Detroit Rock City is on there. But Edward furlongs best unknown movie acting is A Home of Our Own with Kathy Bates.

Enjoy the laid back vibe of your channel. The opening skits are fun and Stella rocks. That's the thing some movies are just fun . Even with a simple concept like this . Simple concept but the adventure getting there is . Fun an amusing here's a horror movie. That fallows that formula Killer Klowns From Outer Space . Simple idea klowns from outer space. Fun waky ,wild an entertaining ride . Unless you already hate klowns .

You’re awesome Pete. Yeah this one I slept on for way too long. You can find it streaming on Amazon but I don’t think it ever went past DVD on physical media. I could be wrong.

@@therobw Over here in The Netherlands it had a nice release on dvd (the sleeve was even sparkling). The music was also great (while watching your reaction), it even includes (my all time favorite band) Thin Lizzy with ''Jail Break'', The Golden Earring's (from my native country) ''Radar Love'' and The Ramones.

I was a big KISS fan around that age too. Also saw Poison open for them. Had to be like 03-04 I want to say?

Definitely one of those years. It was a great show. Poison was arguably just as good if not better than Kiss.

I *still* have, and occasionally wear, my shirt from that tour! People think it's a retro re-print. Nope, it's original. I saw them at Great Woods with Poison in 2003. My wife and I took our kids for the first time, they were 7 and 9 at the time. Love KISS, love this movie, love your reaction, rock on, everyone! I'd do the headbanging thing right now, but nature is a cruel hair-stealing bitch... 😒
