My only complaint - I WANT MORE! - episode 1 was 35 minutes, the bar was set, you cheated me out of 19 minutes! Seriously tho, this series just reaffirms my love for the current organization/team. Great production, Lions media peoples!

I'm a Patriots fan first, since the Bruschi days, and some of our trade history and coaching history with the Lions made me peep over once in a while. But ever since MCDC came in and watching you guys play last season, it's hard not to love and respect this team. I am excited for you guys and really think something special is being built in Detroit. The new Kings in the North are on the horizon!

Die hard Lions fan here. I always will be. I'm so excited for the atmosphere. I love the improvements in the online video spectrum and the transparency. Showing intended improvement to something like media shows me a desire to improve every part of this franchise. I can't wait to prove all the naysayers wrong when we become a championship team.

I truly feel like that's the first time we got to see Shiela be herself, she's always been a little camera-shy... I was impressed with her awareness & demeanor. I don't think it's a bad thing that he met the owner & President right away, he seems to be a bright young man. I think that exchange said more about the culture change that she's been establishing then any talk from the media... Unlike my Patriots, who will be lucky to win 5 or 6 games, Detroit is a place where the culture has changed and solid leadership has emerged. While my Pats are becoming yesterdays heroes, the Lions are building something that will last for years.

I have never wanted a team to succeed more than the Lions this year. I know it's a proces, I know it's nowhere near the state to compete with the big boys in the league, but damn I want them to be good. I want them to be a menace. A team nobody wants to play against. And I hope to see them in the playoffs soon. What a culture. What a coach team. I cannot wait to see what they get up to.

The fact that so many free agents returned says a lot about the what the Lions are culturally doing in Detroit. The old guard is gone and Sheila has breathed in a new life into the organization. She is a sign that the Lions are changing to fit a league as it currently stands. She made a good hire in Holmes and Campbell has been the icing on the cake. I don't care what the perpetual pessimistic Detroit fans have to say because being a fan for many years now there is a noticeable difference between the past regimes and the current one. There are no more negative news articles from players condemning coaching or front office staff. It seems all the players have bought-in to the new culture being built in the organization. They have a vision of where they want to be but are realistic about where they are. They know it will take time and I'm glad to see Sheila has the big picture in mind with regards to that. There doesn't seem to be a rush to bring about instant change. From Ford to Campbell everyone delivers the consistent same message of "build a winning culture." No matter what anyone says environment and energy are important. And just as important are the people you have in that environment. The players say they love Campbell and there is evidence to prove it. Last season the team had every reason to quit and tank the season but they didn't. In fact anyone paying attention could tell that the players were giving everything they had every week until the end of the season. Regardless of what you think of him there is no denying Campbell has a charisma and confidence about him. His leadership allows him to challenge and bring the best out of a team that by all means should be nothing but mediocre. Credit the coaching staff as well. Campbell will undoubtedly tweak staff here and there but what he has in Glenn, pleasant, staley, and Johnson seems to be coming together beautifully. Walker has found his groove and his position and his consistency is way better. Oruwariye had the makings of a break-out season if not for injury. Lets see what they can bring out of okudah and I'm excited to see what the WR's do this year too. Khalif and Reynolds are no Deandre Hopkins but sometimes all a player needs is a chance to prove themselves. I can see them being a great strength to what many see as a weak WR room. Goff is entering a season 2 where his WR and offense will remain mostly the same. Consistency breeds success for quarterbacks trying to adjust to a new team and system. The defense gets their key players back as well. I don't care what anyone says, if you want to build something that will last you need to give it time. The players believe in what the Lions are doing and the plethora of free agents returning is a testament to that. Everyone of them has reiterated the sentiment that they want to help build the success and continue to be apart of the culture. I'm excited for the first time in many years to watch the Lions. I'm not expecting super bowl contention but I'm more interested in watching the things happening between the lines. How will this team improve this year? How much better can we get? I think the sky is the limit and with the young talent and coaching staff we have I think we will have a much improved Lions team then what we had in the Stafford era. I think Campbell and Holmes will be around for a long time as Sheila is heavily involved in the vision and planning; which by the way in a side note, if you want to build a successful football team the owner, coach, and gm need the same vision and be on the same page. She is involved but allows Brad and Campbell to do their job. (I'm talking to you JERRY). Either way I'm excited and looking forward to what they have in store. I'm a Lions fan in Cali but I'm a lions fan for life. Don't care if we are in the gutter or on the top. Its ALWAYS DETROIT VS EVERYBODY
