This one is about the Portuguese monarchy, probably from the early 20th century. Though it is not specifically about Dom Miguel, I took the liberty to relate the song to him, as they both have to do with the monarchists resisting liberals. Dom Miguel was a claimer to the Portuguese throne when his niece, Queen Maria II, was to ascend to power, contrary to Portuguese custom, but absolutely in pair with the interests of liberals and Freemasonry, obviously. This led to the Liberal Wars between the liberal supporters of Queen Maria and the absolutist supporters of Dom Miguel. Though he ended exiled, Dom Miguel did manage to frighten the whole of Portuguese Freemasonry with his fierce anti-liberal character.
